Uit pure verveling besteld bij amazon:

* American Psycho (nav de docu gisteren, die ipv de plantage kwam)
* Bonfire of the Vanities (kwam er ook in voor, klonk interessant)
* Microserfs (omdat ik alles van Coupland errug goed vind en deze nog niet gelezen heb!)

Ik ben benieuwd!

American Psycho is erg goed
Microserfs ken ik nog niet, ik heb alleen Generation X gelezen

Tip:

Jay McInerney: Bright Lights Big City en Story of my Life (of andere boeken, maar deze twee ken ik van hem)
Brett Ellis: Less than Zero
Herman Busselmans: De man die werk vond, De terugkeer van Bonanza en nog een hele stapel van hem

Daar wil ik me graag bij aansluiten. Bright Lights Big City is mijn favoriete engelstalige boek. American Psycho is inderdaad ook prachtig, en Brusselmans rules al helemaal! The Bonfire Of The Vanities (niet de film!!!) is dik, maar de moeite waard.

Andere tip: Success! van Martin Amis. Ook mooi is Rule Of The Bone van Russell Banks.

Kreeg gisteren een mailtje dat de boeken al verstuurd zijn en ik kan niet wachten... Het is naar m'n zin al weer te lang geleden dat ik flink heb gelezen... Blijf weer hangen in die domme tv

Ik heb ze alledrie gelezen, geweldige boeken. Iedereen die werkzaam is in de IT-sector zou Microserfs verplicht moeten lezen!

Ik ben nu bezig in Microserfs en het boek is al omgedoopt tot mijn persoonlijke bijbeltje. Wat een boek! De humor!! Heerlijk. Als de andere twee titels (sohee bonfire is eg wel dik) maar de helft zo goed zijn, dan is dit een geslaagde zending geweest zeg!

Van Coupland heb ik Generation X, Shampoo planet, en Polaroids from the Dead gelezen. Leuk dat er weer een nieuwe is, dat wist ik niet, gauw gaan kopen. Mis ik dan nog titels op zijn bibliografie?

Heeee die 'Miss Wyoming' kende ik ook niet. 'Girlfriend in a coma' natuurlijk wel, prachtig boek. Als ik deze stapel door heb gewerkt dan maar op jacht naar die miss.
