concert to be held on November 4 at the new 400 ha Pinnacle Point golf
estate outside Mossel Bay.
Will Young will be the supporting act. The coup was pulled off by the Pam
Golding Property Group - the marketing agents for the estate.
PGP's group sales and marketing director David McGregor confirmed on Friday
that the concert will be held on the state-of-the-art driving range in a
Kirstenbosch-style picnic environment.
The space can accommodate around 16 500 people. Ticket prices will be
announced in August and sales will be through Computicket.
The estate covers 4km of the Garden Route coastline, and comprises over 400
residential units and 120 golf lodges built in the Cape Cod style around a
championship golf course.
Also central to the development are a hotel and casino complex. Plots are
available from between R1m and R3m.

A top Cape property group has pulled off a coup by persuading Madonna to perform in South Africa for the first time - at a private function.
Pam Golding Property Group says she will appear at the November launch of Pinnacle Point, a new 400ha golf estate outside Mossel Bay and covering 4km of Garden Route coastline.
The estate is marketed by Pam Golding Property Group.
Andrew Golding, the company's chief executive, said yesterday: "I can confirm that (Madonna) has confirmed (that she will be performing)."
Although international stars have flooded into South Africa since the first democratic elections in 1994, Madonna has been notable for her absence so far.
Her planned visit to the Cape has been kept secret until now

The estate comprises 404 residential units and 120 Cape Cod-style golf lodges built around a championship golf course designed by Peter Matcovitch.
Plot prices range from R1 million to more than R3m.
Madonna's new CD, Confessions on a Dance Floor, debuted at No 1 in 29 countries. The Confessions Tour began on May 21 in the US and is scheduled to travel the world until the finale at the Tokyo Dome at the end of September.
Pinnacle Point developers are not yet saying where the once-off concert will be staged. But the golf estate's huge multi-storey club-house is perched atop dramatic cliffs and looks like the most likely venue, along with the estate's hotel and casino complex.

Er gaat een gerucht dat de DVD van de Confessions Tour in Miami wordt opgenomen. Maar goed, ze heeft RIT ook nog liggen...

Niet doen als je het niet wilt zien, inderdaad. het is het gehele optreden en nog redelijk gedetailleerd gefilmd ook.
Madonna heeft het volgende berichtje achtergelaten op officiele website (madonna.com) voor haar Australische fans, gezien zij tijdens de tour Australie niet aan zal doen.

I have fond memories from previous tours.Unfortunately, the logistics just didn't work out this time around. We looked into going from Japan to Australia and ending the show there but I have to get my kids back into school in England and they are, as you can understand, my most important priority. The important thing to remember is that I'm not retiring anytime soon and I am gonna get to Australia as soon as I can. You remain in my heart and Thank you for your continued love & support.

Ja, en het grappige is dat ze op beide fora naïef zijn. Op Madonna-Mad wat betreft de hoop dat Madonna haar kinderen opzij zou zetten voor haar tour en op ICON wat betreft de onkritische verering van Madonna tot in den treure.

Later we were the site that reported first that something in the schedule was changing as remixes for the songs were being officially commisioned.
From what Warners Netherlands now says to our fellow fansite MadonnaUnderground, Jump is then the fourth European single from Confessions to be released in September 2006.
And speaking about singles, MadonnaTribe has also heard that what will come next after Jump, will be something completely new and unexpected. Stay tuned to M-Tribe.
Op de manier waarop het gebracht wordt vermoed ik dat het hier niet om muziek gaat... Of toch wel? Spannend!
Als het over muziek gaat, zou het de H&M single kunnen zijn... al wordt 'ie al in augustus gedraaid. Misschien een duet met Mylene Farmer. Madonna spreekt de Engelse versie van Arthur and The Minimoys in en Mylene de Franse. Er gaan geruchten dat ze een duet willen maken voor de film!

Die H&M single, is die ooit ergens bevestigd eigenlijk? En die is dan redelijk verwacht, net als het duet met Mylène Farmer - daar gaan immers al geruchten over.
Ze moet me wel verrassen hoor! Bij de clip voor Get Together zei de platenmaatschappij dat er iets aankwam wat we nog nooit hadden gezien! Nee... en dat hadden ze zo moeten houden.
