Teleport Issues and Sim Crashes.

[PST 6:46 pm] The database load problem has been determined to be one that cannot be fully resolved at the current time. Although we will continue to monitor, diagnose and mitigate the problem until tomorrow when it can be fully addressed. Potential symptoms might include: Region crashes, teleports failing, L$ balance at 0$, avatar is invisible, and trouble rezzing objects. We understand these issues are significantly inconvenient. Please bear with us as we work to minimize the effects.
[PST 6:40 pm] Some related issues persist. Please forgive the inconvenience while we diagnose the problem.
[PST 5:42 pm] About 45 minutes ago teleport issues resulted in the in-world announcement that there was a database problem. No sonner did I make the all-call than the issue was resolved and the database load dropped to normal levels. Currently there is a wave of downed sims which appears to be unrelated. The cause is being investigated currently and regions are being reset. Please bear with us while we work on a solution.

[PST 5:28 pm] Despite repeated fixes that initially appeared to be easing the database load slowly but surely, Developers are continuing to put out related fires.
Forecast calls for continued teleport issues, sim crashes and assets not rezzing/displaying. If you experience any of these issues, it’s not on your end. We’re very sorry to not have an ETA for resolution at this point. I’ll post updates here as I learn more from the front lines.

[PST 3:06 pm] The release planned for the morning of Wednesday the 15th has been postponed which means there will be no downtime as previously announced for Second Life tomorrow. There is also no release planned for the 22nd due to the Thanksgiving holiday and various Lindens travelling to see families and friends. The next release has been tentatively scheduled for the 29th. We will continue to post updates to our Beta Grid with the 1.13 release candidate and encourage Residents to use this test grid in the meantime.
The decision was made to delay any significant update while we continue to investigate and seek solutions for ongoing performance and network issues affecting some users.

[PST 2:00 PM] After some work on the databases it appears that everything is back to normal. We’ll continue to keep an eye on things. Thanks for your patience.
[PST 1:24 PM] We are investigating reports of failed teleports, faulty L$ balances, and clothing not appearing. The problem seems to be tied to heavy load on the database. The ops team is on it, and we should have an update for you shortly.

[PST 9:21 PM] The grid is open. Welcome back!
[PST 8:56 PM] It looks like the database server crashed and corrupted its dataset. We’ve switched to a backup server, and the grid is now open to Linden staff. We anticipate reopening the grid within an hour.
[PST 7:44PM] Second Life is currently closed while we work on restoring the database. As soon as we have more information we’ll post an update.
[PST 7:28 PM] We are investigating heavy load on the database, which is causing failed teleports in Second Life. Log-ins are closed to new Residents while we work on restoring the grid.

- Een Free grid (net zoals het Teen Grid) waar gratis accounts kunnen vertoeven (of splits het zooitje iig op server-gewijs);
- Gedurende lag restricted access voor free accounts;
- Betalen voor listener-scripts;
- Griefers en laggers niet waarschuwen > waarschuwen > suspenden > suspenden > suspenden > bannen ... maar gewoon meteen >BAM< bannen;
- Gewoon met al die centen snellere servers kopen ... ook die komen eraan maar zijn alleen vooor nieuwe inscrijvingen;
