Stop The Clocks selections confirmed

Oasis have finally confirmed the tracklisting for their forthcoming best of album.

The songs for 'Stop The Clocks', released on November 20, was selected by the band themselves and had previously been kept secret.

This led to much speculation as to what would appear on the album - and several incorrect lists emerged.

However, the group have now announced their true selections.

The 'Stop The Clocks' tracklisting is:

'Rock 'N' Roll Star'
'Some Might Say'
'Talk Tonight'
'Lyla'
'The Importance Of Being Idle'
'Wonderwall'
'Slide Away'
'Cigarettes & Alcohol'
'The Masterplan'
'Live Forever'
'Acquiesce'
'Supersonic'
'Half The World Away'
'Go Let It Out'
'Songbird'
'Morning Glory'
'Champagne Supernova'
'Don't Look Back In Anger'

The band are also set to release their first film, 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down', around the record's release.

Idd, vooral All Around The World mis ik echt op het album, toch wel een beetje de Hey Jude van Oasis Maar goed, aangezien Noel dit hele album niet serieus neemt is het maar de vraag in hoeverre het echt hun favoriete nummers zijn.

Noel Gallagher says that Oasis have made no plans for their immediate future.

Oasis return to the fray this autumn with their greatest hits package ‘Stop The Clocks’, but what happens after that is anyone’s guess.

He tells Billboard: “There's no plans to do anything. Saying that, there's no plans not to do anything, either. We're not like other bands in that respect.

“We're masters of our own destiny and take these things one album at a time. The last time we sat down and planned an album, it turned into 'Don't Believe the Truth,' and that took three years to record."

Noel went on to admit that they have eleven songs left over from the ‘Don’t Believe The Truth’ that they could release if they wanted.

He added: “There's seven that are good and four that are really great, so we could put an album out tomorrow if we wanted."
