Hier, het interview met m:
Being the first gamer in the world to hit 20,000 gamerpoints is explanation enough to introduce this amazing gamer. He doesn't do it for purely bragging rights either, he also just loves to game! This guy also has great grammar. What more could you ask for?
Why don't we start by finding out a little about yourself:
I'm a single, 20 year old guy. I go to college and play games. I have been a gamer since I was 7, when I got the NES; since then gaming has been in my blood. I like to think I'm a perfectionist, hence my determination to get every single achievement in every game.
What do you feel is the hardest achievement out there that you've gotten?
I would have to say the No Crash Victory: Single Races achievement from Ridge Racer 6 because it's both really hard and time consuming. Let me tell you that I was really happy when I got it, it really boosted my confidence in my racing skills (not that it was lacking) and I'm looking forward to beating Full Auto 100% as soon as it comes out.
That you haven't gotten, but know is possible?
That would be the 100 wins in survival in Dead or Alive 3. One of my friends has been able to pull it off, but I don't like this game enough to put the time in to get it and I'm not that good at it either.
Be honest; Do you get achievements for fun or bragging rights?
I don't think anyone above 15k gets them only for fun, I mean you can't like all the games. So it's mostly for bragging right even though I don't brag that much (at least not yet). I really think the whole achievements concept is the best idea that Microsoft had since they created Xbox Live as it makes you play games you would never have tried otherwise.
What achievement are you going after next?
I'm trying to get all the multiplayer achievements of Quake 4 so I'll be playing quite a lot over the next week.
What is your favorite game on the 360?
Racing games are my first love, so I would have to say Project Gotham Racing. But my favorite single player game is by far Condemned: Criminal Origins; if you have a 360, you have to try it, the game is great.
Least favorite?
NBA Live 06; I really hated playing this game, the gameplay is really bad.
Favorite multiplayer game?
Call of Duty 2 is a blast when you can get a good game going with a bunch a friends.
What will people find you doing most often on your 360?
Playing games, that's all I use my 360 for. I may listen to music once in awhile, but most of the time I will be playing.
Are you a hardcore Xbox guy or do you dabble in the dark arts (re:other consoles)?
I have always been a one console guy. It all started with the NES and SNES and now Xbox and Xbox 360. I have bought both (Xbox and Xbox 360) on launch and I was also on the Xbox Live beta test, so I guess this makes me a hardcore Xbox guy.
Do you have any strategies to share with us for any particular achievement?
Practice, practice, practice. No achievement is impossible to get (aside from the glitched ones) and stay calm, you won't always succeed on the first try. And most important of all, learn from your mistakes.
What 360 title are you looking forward to next?
I have been waiting for Elder Scrolls VI: Oblivion since launch. I'm a RPG freak so it will be good to spend endless number of hours on this game.
Got a personal or favorite website you want to share?
www.mygamercard.net. It is really a great website which provides a lot a functionalities and will provide even more in the future, as Microsoft's servers improve. Morgon (the Webmaster) is a really great guy too.
