Ik ben verslaafd!
Net Kode 9 's Dubstep Allstars mix gedownload, en het is briljant. Zelden muziek gehoord met zoveel energie en tegelijkertijd zoveel lagen en dingen die gebeuren. En de stijl van die MC is ook nog eens dope.
Wat zijn andere aanraders om eens te proberen?

23 Maart ben ik overigens ook in de Helling. Vorige rebeltronics was geweldig, deze wordt hopelijk nog een stukkie vetter.

hehe als je die Dubstep Allstars de bom vind moet je zeker 16 maart naar Lanteren/Venster komen, daar zullen Kode9 & SpaceApe weer een set doen.

vanavond is een dubstep feestje in club 8, dat is hier 50 meter vandaan
maar daar komen geen bekende dj's volgens mij....

Een van de betere platen uit 2006 IMHO, uitgebracht op het label van Kode 9; Hyperdub.

Volgens mij is die cd hier al een paar keer de revue gepasseerd .
Lijp dat hij trouwens klinkt alsof hij niet gemasterd is, terwijl dat wss wel het geval is.

Sleeparchive heeft een hele sicke minimalistische dubstep plaat geproduceerd!!! Beste die ik in tijden gehoord heb.

Kromestar is het afgelopen jaar in Engeland uitgeroepen tot beste nieuwkomer. Veel van zijn tracks staan op de Hatcha-cd van Dubstep Allstars 4.

Heny G heeft zijn eigen show op Rinse FM op vrijdagen (vanavond van 20 tot 22 dus, www.rinse.fm), en heeft ook al meerdere keren op DMZ gedraaid. Een groot talent, en pas 21. Hij is het die op de voorkant van de flyer staat.

had em al een tijdje geleden gehoord, staan wel wat leuke tracks op, aardig poppy (meer poppy nog dan haar eerdere releases)

Love me or Hate me zie ik regelmatig op de muziekzenders

Ik vraag me af of grime nog een keer invloed gaat hebben op de US Hiphop. Dizzee schijnt het toch best goed te doen daar en ik heb hem ook al een keer met oa de neptunes op het podium zien staan. Het zou me niet verbazen als die ook eens grime achtige beats in wat tracks gaan verwerken.

Edit: Love Me or Hate Me doet het blijkbaar erg goed in de US.

Het is dan geen grime, maar love me or hate me heeft wel een typisch engels geluid en doet het nu ook enorm goed.

Mjah, nu ik het album nog een keer luister hoor ik ook maar een track die echt grime is (A little bit of shhh) en een paar tracks die een beetje grime achtig aandoen.
