Octavarium is misschien wel het enige album in mijn collectie waar ik geen een nummer goed van vind.
Bij mij het album wat ik ongetwijfeld het minst heb geluisterd. Zoiets zal het zijn:

Ow ja, vergeten Denk een keer of 40. Dat album heb ik helemaal grijs gedraaid toen ie uitkwam. Kon het daarna niet meer horen..quote:

Via de bekende bronnen is ondertussen een instrumental demo te downloaden (alhoewel ik niet 100% zeker ben dat dit geen fake is).
Ik moet zeggen dat wat ik tot nu toe snel heb kunnen horen erg goed klinkt. Alle tracks zijn sowieso 10m+ en hebben weer die heerlijk verrassende opbouwen. Ook is de dynamiek weer helemaal terug van weggeweest, rustige stukken gaan in een keer over naar snoeihard, en toch blijft het logisch klinken.
Wat ik tot nu toe heb gehoord is iig stúkken beter dan Octavarium!
Ik moet zeggen dat wat ik tot nu toe snel heb kunnen horen erg goed klinkt. Alle tracks zijn sowieso 10m+ en hebben weer die heerlijk verrassende opbouwen. Ook is de dynamiek weer helemaal terug van weggeweest, rustige stukken gaan in een keer over naar snoeihard, en toch blijft het logisch klinken.

Hmm.. ik ben aardig into de 'bekende bronnen' maar heb nog niks gevonden De kans is wel groot dat je gewoon naar Liquid Tension Experiment oid zit te luisteren.. van Octavarium waren ook 2 fakes te vinden voor de release

Ok, het is geen LTE en het is ook geen Suspended Animation of solo-werk van Rudess.
Het zou wel vet zijn als het echt SC is, het heeft namelijk wat meer Images and Words geluid dan de laatste DT albums.. me like!
