However, you cannot just walk in. This museum is kept under high security because of the value of the stored designs, and only a few are allowed to enter. However, those select few spread their new knowledge and benefit everybody!
Who knows? Perhaps one day the NDEX vault will open!
This lot functions similarly to the Major Art Museum already in-game. It has slightly reduced capacities. Let's see - it is medium wealth (§§), and comes on a 3x4 lot, with a small parking lot in the back. It costs §1500 to plop, and then §25/month. It provides in Park Effect, +70 over 26 tiles, and in Landmark Effect, +50 over 22 tiles. People like to live and work near such a prestigious museum.... :p Lastly, the lot will boost your local EQ by 50 points, so it appears in the Education Menu. Touchdown!

This is a set that will allow you to create your own trail parks. The set includes custom textures for all the lots, including diagonal pieces and new crosses and plazas to let you build a really big variety of shapes. They are compatible with the Diagonal Park fences, and if you use them together, you can break those linear and squared Parks. This version is supposed to be used in high wealth areas.
The lots
This set includes 12 pieces to maximize flexibility. Of course, you can use the ones you want. The more pieces you install, the more flexibility you will have. See the included readme file for detailed info on the lots.
The lots will appear under the miscellaneous transit menu.

Now you can extend your Streams with a more Urban look with this 'channelized' add-on for the PEG Stream Kit. Although technically an extension of the Stream Kit, these concrete lined channels evolved during development (feature creep) into their own, stand-alone mini-canal or channel system. They will merge seamlessly with the existing Streams but can also be used all by themselves. The new single tile wide Channels are a great way to have water flowing through your city without sacrificing a lot of real estate.
With the old and stained concrete look, they are grungy enough to look right at home in even the dirtiest industrial area. Yet, with the red tile wall caps, they have that old-world charm & Mediterranean styling that adds class to any residential or commercial area. Very flexible... with 2 styles of corners (square or round), a pedestrian bridge designed for use with the PEG Trail Park & Seasonal Trail Park, a roadway/network bridge and an extender lot to allow passage under elevated rail or highways, these channels can go almost anywhere. They are even mildly slope-tolerant and can traverse up/down smooth, modest slopes.
The kit also includes a Stream Transition lot for a seamless transition to & from the original Streams. Additional lots, including a waterfall and a lock, are being developed for the first add-on to the new style.
The individual lots retain a small taste of park & landmark benefits, however, their desirability values have been greatly reduced. They still provide a taste of the YIMBY, but they won't collectively blow out any caps. Their plop price has also been reduced significantly and maintenance averages $1 a lot/tile.
* These lots have been relocated to the Water Transportation Menu for ease of use.
** The straight, 3x straight and straight Utility lots are slope tolerant and will allow the channels to flow down (or up) modest slopes.
*** All the channel lots fully cover the tile(s) of the lot... so there is no concern about matching adjacent terrain.
** The Stream Channel Kit has no outside dependencies.

I noticed during game play some towers like to grow more than others, to fix this I changed their Res Occupation values so that they were relatively closer to each other on an average. Hopefully this will cause them to grow a little more evenly.
(If anybody has some better ideas to a solution to this please PM me.)

Little Story:
The Neyorka Bay casino & Hotel originally founded itself in the spwaling metropolis of Santa Neyorka, the Casino itself was originally named the Viva Las Neyorka. However, after the thwarted attack of Hurricane Carl, the Casino was left in ruin, but the mayor of the city wasn't going to give up on it.
He set about rebuilding it! And in a few years, Neyorka Bay Hotel & Casino was reborn. And, in it's rebirth, it's sales quadrupoled, and quadrupoled again, until the hotel could stand sales no more. Thus, it went in search for another site, and there it finds itself in Las Ventura.
The hotel found in Las Ventura operatures venues around the clock ranging from Blaze: The Masked Avenger to the Jeronij & Family Stunt Performers, a spectacular show that's been known from San Portello to Columbia River. (Special thanks due for the bolded names).
However, the hotel is suffering the same problem now as it did in Neyorka. Can you help it by building it in your city???

The Standard Spillway is very similar to the Stream Kit's original non-texture based waterfall and plops just like the CSK Lock & Waterfall lots. The Spillway is 3 tiles long and self adjusts to any height of slope within its range. As it is not texture-based, it will not stretch to cover extremely high slopes... but it does have a fairly adequate height range of approx. 32 meters.
The Ocean Spillway is a variation of the standard Spillway that can be used to run your channels into game water oceans or rivers. It is only 2 tiles long and plops just like the CSK Ocean Lock lot.
The Garden Waterfall is a unique variation designed to add a bit of eye-catching class to your cities. It has a particularly stunning effect when used where your canals descend into recreational & even commercial areas. Accordingly, it has an increased park & landmark effect equivalent to that of a large park & plaza. It is also night-lighted so your Sims can continue to enjoy it after the sun sets.
Unless your barge captains are adrenalin junkies, we would have to classify these waterfalls as non-navigatable. The spillway falls have warning signs and safety chains to stop channel traffic... and the garden falls could easily be classified as a Class 5 Whitewater adventure.
All 3 lots include a custom waterfall sound effect. They will appear in the Water Transportation Menu along with the other CSK lots. They also have plopping instructions included in the menu descriptions
** This Add-On requires the PEG CSK2 .quote:Description:
Our first add-on pack for the new CSK2 is aptly named as its all about Crossing Over... and getting to the other side. This add-on contains 6 new lots that parrot the Bridge and Extender lots used in the PEG Pond Kit.
The Bridge Lots consists of a left, right and center bridge facade to be used along both sides of a row(s) of blank tiles that cross over the channels. You can then run road, rail, avenues, etc... across those blank tiles and the channel will appear to flow under it..
The Extender Lots work in a similar fashion for use with elevated networks such as monorails or the elevated highways. The extender lots are actually only 1x1 in size, but they also have an offset rendered BAT model that extends to cover a 2nd adjacent tile. This adjacent tile, although covered with the BAT model, is actual blank and therefore networks can run across it.
All of the lots have almost no YIMBY benefit and cost only §1 a month to maintain, Plop costs are also very affordable at §10 - §20 each.

Do you remember the good old SimCity 2000 era, where microwaves from space were used as sometimes hazardous, but reliable and clean power source in particular? Now, it has finally returned, the microwave power plant, which receives the beam from a satellite that collects the rays of the sun in earth's orbit. The capacity of this facility is equal to the hydrogen power plant, but the other values are the same as the ones from the solar power plant, which makes the microwave power plant an attractive power source, providing the sims with long-lasting, environment-friendly power. But be careful, when the beam misses the receiver, the next fire station shouldn't be too far away! Dependent on the selected difficulty level, the power plant will become available when certain requirements are met (look below for a list), i. e. you'll need the space port in "hard difficulty", since you'll also need a satellite in space that reflects the solar rays to earth first...
You can select the Power Plant version of this lot from the utilities - energy menu and plop it in your city. This BAT has the same statistics like the solar power plant, but far more output. It is a reward lot which has certain requirements, dependent on the difficulty level:

This is the first set of lots in the BSC Raised Park series of lots.
This base set of lots contain centre pieces, walls and corners allowing you to build flexible raised parks. The lots (see readem) are modded to act as a combination of Flower Gardens and Plaza's, with the emphasis being on Landmark Effect (to boost commercial demand/growth). The lots will reduce some air pollution, but do use and pollute water.
These lots, and the ones in the associated Rasied Park sets, are based on some ideas I got from Japan. In Shinjuku there are some parks raised above street level. This has the effect of removing much of the traffic noise from the park areas. Connecting these parks to each other and nearby buildings are pedestrian bridges to keep the pedestrian traffic flowing. Finally the Tokyo Government Office building has some amazing stonework at its base emulating some of the magnificent Japanese castles. These were combined into a common set of lots contained in this (and associated) lots.

Pegasus Productions will be introducing an entirely new Mountain Theme for SimCity4. The new theme will include updated versions of all the old PEG mountain-related classics along with many new releases, including mountain-specific growable RES, COM and IND.
The contents of this archive are the primary dependency files for all the lots that will be released as part of this theme. Additional volumes will be added as required.
Please note that this theme pack is a replacement for the PEG Mountain Development Pack which should be deleted from your system. The contents of the old development pack are included in this new theme pack so your existing files that rely on it should not be affected.
Also note that once installed, the PEG Pine Trees throughout the game will be updated with an improved appearance. The update is automatic. There is no need to bulldoze and re-plop any lots at this time. No other changes to existing lots should be apparent at this time.
The conversion of the numerous PEG mountain-related lots & mods into a unified theme is an extensive process. Pieces of the theme will be released incrementally as they are completed. All efforts will be made to make the upgrade as easy as possible, but I won't lie to you, Folks... there's gonna be a whole lot of re-plopping' going on. Many of the upgrades and changes are extensive and include new textures, props, re-sized lots and even the removal of some existing lots. But the end result will be more lots, less menu icons, improved resource usage and a whole lot more flexibility.

This is a MTP compliant PATCH update to the PEG Seasonal Woods. It is NOT a complete update of the product and installation of the original/previous version is required. This patch will not affect the fairly large PEG_Seasonal-Tree-Pack_206b.dat file (476 KB) which contains the 18 original tree models and must not be removed.
Running this patch will install two new versions of the original files containing the lot data. The files...
PEG_Seasonal-Woods_207.dat and PEG_Seasonal-Woods-t_207.dat
...will be installed to the default installation path. The previous versions of those two files...
PEG_Seasonal-Woods_206a.dat and PEG_Seasonal-Woods-t_206a.dat
...must then be manually deleted.
This new version reduces the collective YIMBY effects of the lots in order to avoid blowing over any caps. It also replaces the previous two base and overlay textures with the new, single blended base texture used throughout the new PEG Mountain Theme. This will allow the Seasonal Woods lots to blend better with other MTP lots. Also, the reduction of the extra texture on lots used repeatedly, such as these, can have a notable reduction in game resource usage.
The textured versions of these lots will need to be re-plopped before the new texture will be visible. However, you can do this anytime you wish as the older version textures are still supported and will function and appear normally in the game. Previously plopped transparent version lots do not need to be re-plopped.
** BE SURE TO REMOVE THE OLDER VERSION FILES WHEN UPGRADING **

As part of the MTP upgrade, the classic Pine Trails have been modified to be "tree-type indifferent". In other words, you can now use them with any trees types you choose. Based upon requests on the support site, the pine tree props have been removed and these new Mountain Trails are now more flexible than ever.
Other modifications include the use of the new blended MTP forest floor texturing along with a new & more subtle 'dirtier' dirt path. These are the same textures used in other MTP lots so they will all blend together quite well. Also, there has been an overall reduction in YIMBY effects to avoid blowing over caps... and the plop prices have been reduced accordingly. All other aspects of the lots remain the same and they still adapt to sloped terrain extremely well..
The lots already present in the game will update automatically for the most part. Only the pine tree props will remain on the lots until you re-plop them. As any trail lots currently in the game are most likely among pines forests, this should not be an issue.
This Trail Park pack contains these lots:

Updated for the MTP, the Trail Head lot has been modified visually to include new trail textures and, of course, no trees. The Trail Head lot can now be used with all tree sets.
Based on typical trail heads found in many National parks, this lot can also be used as a rural roadside rest stop and picnic area. The lot is modestly slope tolerant but will look best on level terrain. The entrance to the parking area is transit enabled and should be connected using streets.

** This is a MTP update to the original lot. Like the new Mountain Trails, it can now be used with any tree set.
Created by request, the original Pine Trail Railroad Crossing was a simple, 1x1 lot that visually extends the Pine Trails over railroad tracks. In effect, it is no more than a single tile lot that is transit enabled for both freight & passenger rail.
However, with the game's default "dirt" underlying the rail road tracks everywhere in the game, there was no way to get this lot to look quite right. Thus spawned a collective effort at the support site for a means to improve the appearance of the railroad tracks.
The result of that collective effort, is the SWAMPER-PEG No Rail Dirt Mod, which was initially released on the STEX along with Swamper77's OneWay Railroad Crossings Mod ... and is also included in this archive. As is pictured above, the No Rail Dirt Mod eliminates the dirt texture under the railway tracks... which doesn't look bad on straight sections, but looked like chunky Hell on diagonal sections and turns and turnouts.
The side effect to this mod is that is also removes the underlying dirt that appears on streets adjacent to farm and landfill zones. On those tiles, between the road and the sidewalk, the true underlying terrain (usually grass) is visible instead of the dirt. Its barely noticeable and not objectionable in appearance, but a side effect none-the-less.
** UPGRADING THE RAIL CROSSING **
The new Mountain Trail Rail Crossing files will be installed in the Mountain Theme Pack Folder.
You must remove the old version files that are contained in the Pine TrailsRailroad Crossing folder.

New... for the PEG Mountain Trails... this Recreation Pack adds seven new Mountain Trail lots to your off-road toy box. Included is almost everything you would need to create you very own, custom camp grounds. This pack is loaded with many new custom props that will breathe new life into those old dusty trails. Many props shuffle and change to create an active camp ground look while still maintaining that peaceful, easy feeling.
The seven new lots are:
1. Mountain Trail Tunnel Lot.
By request... this 1x1 lot allows you to visually extend your trails through mountains. Can also be used as a small mine.
2. Mountain Trail Corner Picnic Area.
A 1x1 variation of the standard corner section. The dirt area on this one has been widened to make room for a couple of wooden picnic tables.
3. Mountain Trail Ranger Station.
We re-used the game's Ranger Station prop on this 2x2 lot because... well, because is doesn't suck. With integrated Mountain Trails, this lot looks great as part of a larger camp ground or just about anywhere along the trail.
4. Mountain Trail Camp Site.
A 1x1 individual camp site lot that plugs in to any trail piece. Used with Tees and 4-ways, you can easily create large camp grounds of almost any design. Each lot displays random tents that are packed up each day as the campers head on down the trail. New tents appear as new campers hike in for the night. And, of course, each camp site has a toasty camp fire each night for cooking up those tasty Smores. Anymore know the second verse to 'Kumbaya'?
5. Mountain Trail Recreation Area.
A common fixture at larger campsites, this 2x3 Recreation Area features a large above-ground pool, BBQ pits and plenty of space and toys to keep the kiddies busy. With a large patio area and covered tables, this would be the main focal point and social spot of most camp grounds.
6. Mountain Trail General Store & Trading Post
Many large camp grounds have one... in one form or another. Many also serve as the official headquarters or office for the camp ground. Loaded with the usual over-priced groceries, beer, bug spray, beer, camping supplies, bait & beer... many also have a small grill area and serve food to campers who's idea of "roughing it" means 'no cable'.
7. Roadside General Store & Trading Post (w/ Jobs)
A variation of the Pine Trail store, this one is designed to plop along your road network. Transit enabled and offering jobs, it also includes Mountain Trails and works well as an entrance to a campground or as a trail head.

Kumbaya, My Friends... Kumbaya!! The translation of this Gullah word was made famous by the popular campfire song, and means "come by here". And that is certainly the message that campgrounds want to get out to campers on the trail.
No self-respecting campground is with out the classic fire circle/amphitheater where the campers gather at night to hear tales from the rangers of local folklore and the history of the surrounding area. A raging fire, a good show by the rangers and plenty of group sing-along songs before hiking back to the campsite and bedding down for the night.
The Campfire Circle / Amphitheater lot is designed for use with the PEG Mountain Trails and fits right in with the other campground lots included in the Mountain Trail Recreation Pack. It features a dual-model amphitheater prop that is largely empty by day. But when the sun sets, the amphitheater fills up with campers, the fire is lit, and the fire glow sets the mood for the often haunting, but always fun & humorous show put on by the rangers.
* The lot also contains a custom audio track. If you listen carefully, you can hear the crickets and occasional owls hooting in the distance.
Like the other Mountain Trail campground lots, the Fire Circle has minor YIMBY effects... somewhat less than a small park. Its very affordable to maintain and quite cheap to build. "Someone's Plopping, Lord... Kumbaya...".

This mod will give the roads a more European look by changing the yellow double-line into a single white dashed line, as it is common throughout Europe. Every road texture, such as straight and curved pieces, crossroads and intersections, bridges and tunnels etc. were changed, as well as the textures from all new Network Addon Mod additions (roundabouts, overpasses, puzzle pieces,...). It also contains a file that will change the doubled one-way road arrows to single arrows, so the one-way road roundabout from the NAM looks much nicer.
