Ja ik ken die sites en zoiets is lastig te vinden in nederland.

Patta heeft wel goede schoenen alleen weinig verschillende merken. Het waren hoofdzakelijk nikes en New Balance dat vond ik een beetje jammer.

Pfff, mensen mogen toch ook wel melden wat ze vinden van een winkel die hier genoemd wordt? Patta heeft dan wel exclusieve schoenen misschien, maar verder vind ik het ook maar een vervelende zaak om te winkelen. Ik voel me er nou niet bepaald welkom enzo. En ik wil graag leuke sneakers, maar die wil ik ķķk graag in een leuke winkel kopen waar ik een beetje normaal geholpen word en me op m'n gemak voel.

In Eindhoven heb je T-Shu op de Kleine Berg, hebben ze ook wel erg gave sneakers .

In het verlengde van de Vijzelstraat, de grootste winkelstraat van Arnhem, ligt de Rijnstraat. In de Rijnstraat zitten een aantal sportieve kleding- en schoenenzaken bij elkaar. The Globe is er een van. Twee eigenlijk, want The Globe Outfitters en The Globe Women zitten schuin tegenover elkaar.
We beginnen bij The Globe Outfitters en het eerste wat ons opvalt is het unieke pand waar het in gevestigd is. Van de buitenkant lijkt het enigszins bouwvallig, van binnen is het echter zeer indrukwekkend. Het grove houten plafond is gigantisch hoog en er ligt een oude tegelvloer op de grond. Hierdoor oogt het karakteristieke pand heel oud, en dat blijkt het ook te zijn. Sterker nog, The Globe zit in het oudste pand van Arnhem, dat dateert uit 1400. Hoog aan de muur hangt een opgezet hert, maar omdat het zo mooi in de ruimte staat, willen we eigenlijk niet weten of het echt is.

We laten onze blik zakken tot op ooghoogte en voor het eerst hebben we aandacht voor de collectie. We vragen om een kleine rondleiding en ontdekken al snel dat The Globe een van de meest exclusieve zaken in Arnhem is. Het assortiment bestaat uit een mix van trendy, sport- en outdoor kleding. Als een van de weinigen in het land verkopen ze Lee Originals jeans, sneakers van Onitsuka Tiger en Atelier Ladurance jeans. Natuurlijk hebben ze ook de gangbare merken als Lacoste, Nike, Adidas, Von Dutch en Puma in de collectie. Heren kunnen hier terecht voor een complete outfit: schoenen, slippers, tassen, broeken, shirts en jassen. Dames kunnen voor een complete outfit terecht aan de overkant bij The Globe Women.

Het pand aan de overkant is misschien minder indrukwekkend, de collectie is daardoor niet minder interessant. Je kunt het omschrijven als hip, trendy en sportief. The Globe Women staat voor Nolita, Atelier Ladurance, Nike, Adidas Originals, Ugg, Ra-re Donna en daarnaast de gangbare merken. Voor de sportieve dames een klein paradijs.

Concrete in Den Haag, Schoolstraat 26. Klein winkeltje met vooral veel kleding en een klein assortiment minder gangbare schoenen (Nike, Reebok, allerlei skatezooi).

Er komen zoveel schoenen uit die niet in NL te koop aangeboden worden, via internet bestellen is ook nog altijd een optie. Zie ook bv. Centraal Nike topic deel 1.

Volgens mij zijn er in nederland weinig winkels die dat hebben wat jij zoekt. Patta, 75 en sportxtra komen dan nog het meeste in de buurt denk ik.

Maar misschien dat internet uitkomst biedt. Heb jij een sample maat dan?? ik helaas niet dus voor mij schiet samples niet zo op.

Mijn zwager werkt bij Nike en die bestelt veel bijzondere sneakers juist via een soort sneaker-rings: vriendengroepjes waarvan sommigen een paar keer per jaar naar NY of Japan gaan om sneakers te scoren.

A good place to start is Colette. This is the world famous ultra chic store/gallery that stocks clothing, books and has a bar that specialises in water! They always have a small, but interesting, selection of sneakers. From here its a pleasurable walk to Les Halles. This is a bit of a mixed area of town. While it certainly has a great selection of sneaker stores it lacks the charm that radiates through much of Paris. Its pretty seedy and dodgy in places. It is however home to one of my favourite sneaker shops - Eight.

Eight have a good range of the hard to find kicks. They occasionally have store exclusives (a few years back they had their own version of the Reebok Pump Fury in camouflage green with an Eight label on the tongue). Not so much a sneaker store as a crazy boutique which happens to be the only place in Melbourne to import sneakers from OS. They had exclusive dibs on the Proper X Asics collab, SPX sneaks from the UK, Orca Dunks, Olympic AF1, snakeskin Fleetwoods and so on. They don't always have an enormous amount of sneakers but it is definitely worth a visit. It's also only 3 blocks away from the Nike and adidas outlets. Plus you never know who you might see...

Red Devil seems a little pointless after a trip to Sneakers "N" Stuff but if you can't make it to Södermalm, then check out this one. Most of the hottest kicks are here but for a sneaker freaker it can be a little boring, not carrying the finer models to please your delicate taste buds. Also the prices are a little high and the staff need a few lessons in customer service.
