Waarom is die playoff niet voor Fiorentina?

Zou ik ook wel willen weten, ligt in ieder geval niet aan het doelsaldo.

Klopt kollie, nog twee aanvullende duels in de Serie A derhalve. Bologna of Parma, veel scheelt het niet.

Reggiana - Avellino werd 1-2 (let wel, uit doelpunten tellen niet dubbel, bij gelijke stand over 2 wedstrijden wordt er verlengd, is het na 30 minuten verlengen nog steeds gelijk, dan wint automatisch de hoogst geklasseerde in de eindrangschikking, dus een 0-1 in Avellino zou verlengen betekenen)
en Samb-Napoli werd 1-1 met een afschuwelijke negatieve hoofdrol voor het arbitrale trio, dat het presteerde om in 1 wedstrijd 1 goal van Samb onterecht af te keuren voor buitenspel, Datzelfde bij Napoli 2 keer wist te flikken, tevens een schot van Sosa die de keeper van Samb pas royaal achter de lijn wist te pakken niet voor doelpunt wist aan te zien, nog 2 keer onterecht een Napoli speler vrij voor de doelman wist af te fluiten voor off-side en ook nog eens volstrekt belachelijk Ignofo en trainer Reja wegstuurde.
Gelukkig maakte Napoli, echt dik en dik verdiend, de 1-1 met 10 man in de 93e minuut (schitterende lob)

Volgende week zondag de terugmatch in San Paulo, waarvoor tot en met gisteren al dik 40.000 kaarten verkocht waren.

Een gedeelde 1e en een 2e plek, daar kan ik mee thuiskomen

Er moeten er in totaal 4 uit, Venezia en Catanzaro zijn al enige weken bekend als degradanten, maar ook hier zijn nog liefst 9 ploegen niet veilig: Bari, Catania, Salernitana, Vicenza, Arezzo, Cesena, Pescara, Triestina en Crotone.
Ook hier ongemeen spannend dus.

wat houdt die clubkeuze in?

Je kiest voor een club uit de Serie A. Je speelt dus iedere week tegen een andere club (volgens het wedstrijdschema) met je Toto-coorspellingen. Stel, Roma-Milan staat op het programma, dan spelen DIGGER en PyTh tegen elkaar. Voorspelt DIGGEr 3 uitslagen goed en PyTh 2, dan wint DIGGER zijn wedstrijd. Wanneer er 20 deelneemrs (voor iedere club 1) zijn, krijg je dus een onderlinge competitie.

Als je nog mee wilt doen, kan dat: je kan dan kiezen uit Lecce of een van de promovendi. Voorbehoud: pfaf heeft, wanneer Parma mocht degraderen, de eerste keus voor een nieuw team.

Dan wil ik meedoen met Lecce

Digger, waarom hangen de ultras van Napoli nog steeds geen spandoeken op? Heb het doek van bijvoorbeeld Fedayn het hele jaar nog niet gezien... Voeren ze nog steeds actie tegen de lega calcio?

En heeft iemand enig idee wanneer het volgend seizoen begint?

Ik heb nu al zin in volgend seizoen

Niet dat het wat uitmaakt, maar ik had deze week drie i.p.v twee totokruisjes goed. Leuk dat ik volgend jaar weer met Chievo kan spelen. Zo blijft dat mooi logo bestaan.

Fedayn heeft alleen bij het ik meen 25 jarig bestaan, groots uitgepakt thuis.
Verder was het louter anti voetbalbond & voorzitter.

Nu was voor de play-offs toevallig de bijna 1 jaar durende actie tegen de voetbalbond beeindigd, vandaar het grote spandoek dat je nu ziet op de plaatsjes hierboven, vrij vertaald staat er (ik gooi de context er gelijk bij): Ten Aanval tegen de bond, m.a.w. nu komt onze aanval op terugkeer in de Serie B.

Het was daarom frappant om te zien dat de scheids er echt een zooitje van maakte en de grensrechters deelden mee in de malaise, kortom, benieuwd hoe de fans daar zondag weer op zullen ‘antwoordden’.

Hmm... over de toto volgend jaar.
Als ik nog steeds mee kan doen wil ik best met Empoli spelen (ervan uitgaan dat ze promoveren).

Jankulovski is Milan’s second signing after the club swooped for Swiss international midfielder Johann Vogel from PSV last week.

Cesare Prandelli is close to taking charge of the Viola after publicly announcing they would be his first choice.

“I have met President Andrea Della Valle and he really made a good impression,” said the former Parma boss. “I am at his disposal to Coach the side. I have received other offers, but Fiorentina are top of my list of preferences.”

Prandelli resigned from Roma just a few weeks before the start of the season so that he could nurse his wife through a serious illness, but she is on the road to recovery and he now wishes to resume his career.

The Giallorossi are still hopeful of tempting him back for a second attempt, but the Viola – safe from relegation following a final day 3-0 win over Brescia – are in pole position.

“Florence is the kind of place where we can play my kind of football. Their safety was more than deserved and the squad did well to keep cool heads when the situation became critical. The fanbase is also extraordinary and always has been.”

Fiorentina have been through three Coaches already this term, as Emiliano Mondonico, Sergio Buso and Dino Zoff helped the side to safety.

“We are happy that a great professional like Prandelli is ready to join our plans for the future, just as other Coaches are interested in our proposals,” noted Director General Fabrizio Lucchesi.

“From this week we will begin creating next season’s team and the starting point is the Coach. We have a list of names to work with and we’ll make a decision within the next week or two.”

As has been rumoured for months, Lecce director of sport Pantaleo Corvino has resigned and over the next few days will make his move to Fiorentina official. United's new owner Malcolm Glazier has promised Sir Alex a Ŗ100m transfer kitty, but he will only be allowed to spend Ŗ20m a year. The United manager hopes to persuade the Serie A Champions to accept a down-payment followed by instalments for the world's number one net-minder. However, whether Juve will sell their prize asset is very much open to debate.

Milan's Clarence Seedorf will never become a target for new Celtic manager Gordon Strachan. "I still don't know what he does," said Strachan. "He is the one Milan player I've never seen be the star man." The Dutch midfielder has lifted the Champions League three times with as many different clubs

Roma move ‘possible’, says Zeman

Lecce boss Zdenek Zeman has admitted that he could win the race to become the next Roma Coach.
The Czech tactician has been linked with a return to the Italian capital and he’s opened the door for a summer switch.

"I had a very good relationship with President Franco Sensi," stated Zeman on Monday afternoon.
"Could I return to the Giallorossi bench? I’m not quitting the game so it is possible. Everybody would like the chance to boss Roma."

The capital outfit are looking for a new boss given that caretaker Coach Bruno Conti will stand down after the Coppa Italia Final next month.

Zeman is a contender as his Lecce contract expires in June and it is still not clear whether he will remain.
However, Zeman also revealed last week that he has been approached by Palermo to replace Francesco Guidolin.

To complicate matters further, Guidolin has joined Giovanni Trapattoni, Serse Cosmi and Luciano Spalletti as possible Roma targets.

Even if the latter insists that he hasn’t received any type of offer from the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
"The only thing I can say for sure is that I haven’t been contacted by any other clubs," the Udinese tactician stated.

The fact that Palermo’s Luca Toni has been called into the Italy squad for the Norway game should come as no surprise. After all, the 28-year-old has just underlined how good a player he really is after a simply sublime season at the Stadio Renzo Barbera. The Rosaneri finished the campaign in sixth, a League position which owes much to the goals of their lanky striker.

Toni bagged a brace on the final day of the season on Sunday in the 3-3 draw with Lazio. It was the perfect ending to a campaign in which few expected his side or himself to make such an impact.

There was no doubt that Toni was the club’s main attacking threat. He’d already scored an amazing 30 goals in Serie B last year, as the Sicilian giants won the Second Division to ensure promotion. But how many of you really fancied him to net 20 times in Serie A this time around?

The Pavullo nel Frignano-born ace first caught the eye of Italian fans after a fine debut Serie A season back in 2000-01 with Vicenza. He netted nine goals in 31 games which earned him a big money move to Brescia. He repaid the Stadio Rigamonti outfit with 13 goals in 28 matches – which was his most prolific season in the Italian First Division before this term.

Yet Toni’s stay with the Lombard outfit turned sour after an injury-plagued second year with the club. They started to have doubts over his ability and a move to the ambitious Palermo followed. He may have opted to drop down a Division but it was a decision that re-ignited his career.

The former Modena and Treviso player instantly became a hit with the Palermo public, who celebrated with real enthusiasm last September when Toni scored on his competitive international debut in the 2-1 win over Norway at the Barbera. He followed that strike with a super nine months of football, not only scoring crucial goals but also working hard for the rest of his team.

Toni’s form has simply illustrated why his name was being linked with the likes of Milan last summer and why he is on many clubs’ wish-lists. Yet he’ll have to think long and hard about leaving a club who have now entered his name in their folklore. At the start of this season, no Palermo player had netted more than 15 goals in a single top-flight campaign. Yet that particular club record, set by Dante Di Maso in 1950-51, has not only been beaten but destroyed by Toni – a player destined to become a Palermo legend.

Wat moet Toni in jouw ogen doen DD? blijven bij Palermo?

Gezien de spitsen bij de topclubs denk ik dat er kansen zijn dat ie vertrekt, bv Milan (als Crespo niet definitief gehaald wordt), Inter (Als Adriano vertrekt naar Chelsea maar ook als Adriano blijft wat top spitsen hebben ze verder niet bij Inter), Roma (Als Cassano naar Juve gaat) of Juve, als het met Del Piero niet goedkomt daar.

Zeker bij de 2 Milanese clubs zou ie toch lijkt me direct 2e op de picking order staan, na Sheva/Adriano

Alberto Gilardino has dropped out of the World Cup qualifier in Norway with an injury, so Udinese’s Vincenzo Iaquinta has taken his place in the squad.

The Parma hitman was set to start alongside Antonio Cassano in Oslo on Saturday evening, but he has been forced to leave the Coverciano training ground due to a recurring tendon problem.

Gilardino gaat waarschijnlijk naar Milan.

En over Toni: als ie naar een club als Milan of Juve zou kunnen, of mogelijk Roma wanneer Totti, Cassano of Montella vertrekt, dan zou ik het doen. Anders zou ik nog mooi een jaar in Palermo blijven en Europees spelen (of naar PSV komen)...

Niet naar Den Bosch?

Ondertussen zware geruchten als zou de komst van Taddei naar Roma, iets wat zeer waarschijnlijk door gaat (Geen transfersom, salaris +/- 1 miljoen per jaar) de weg vrij maken voor Inter om mancini te kopen (voor 10 miljoen).
