ik heb vanmiddag een partitie van een schijf geghost naar een andere schijf,
daarna de 2e schijf als enige schijf in het systeem laten zitten en opgestart.
ik heb dit eerder gedaan van een 40 gig IDE naar een 160 gig SATA
na van een 160 gig SATA naar een andere 160 gig
nu wil het zo dat ie gaat opstarten, laadbalk van windows is geweest,
dan komen de normale laadschermen van windows "u word aangemeld" "uw persoonlijke instellingen worden toegepast" enzo
nu doet ie deze meldingen heel snel, daarna heel snel "uw instellingen worden opgeslagen"
en dan geeft ie heel lang (meerdere minuten) "u word afgemeld"
en daarna blijft ie al deze meldingen snel achter elkaar geven en verder doet ie niks.
heeft iemand heer een enigsinds logische verklaring voor?
want ik snap er helemaal niks van en heb zoiets nog nooit gezien..

als ik het in m'n dualtje van de HEMA probeer krijg ik supervet mb/s verschil O_O
maar algemene prestatie's van complete PC verschilt 0.9% t/m 2,3%

we kunnen maandag die SATA wel ff langs de HEMA brengen. Die foto-corner schijnt gespecialiseerd te zijn in HD ontleding. Gaan we ondertussen biertje drinken, dan een lekkere warme worst scoren. Restanten HD ophalen, terugbrengen naar Tim "hij doet 't niet meer". Terwijl hij huilt ff feesten en beesten. En de IDE van Chris jatten, zitten ze allebei zonder? style? plan? probleem opgelost?

Boot failures after cloning Windows 2000/XP systems can usually be attributed to one of two causes:

Differences between the position and layout of partitions after the clone resulted in new drive letters being assigned to existing volumes by the booting system.
Some elements of the Windows boot process appear to access files using paths with drive letters.
As a result, when the booting operating system fails to locate the file due to the drive being allocated a new drive letter, a boot failure occurs.
Solution
--------
When running Ghost, you can use one of the following command-line options.
a. Initialize the disk signature using the -FDSZ (force disk signature zero) switch. Initializing the disk signature forces Windows to discard any existing drive letters and to start reallocating new drive letters from scratch.
Note: Ghost generally performs this initialization during a Windows disk load operation. It will not perform this initialization if you are only loading a
partition. In this case the -FDSZ switch should be used to fix a boot failure.
b. Alternately, if you wish to retain the allocated drive letters, use the -FDSP switch (force disk signature preserve). This will only be required on Windows
disk load operations that result in a boot failure.
