Die's pillen tegen motion sickness aan het kopen. Als de tour namelijk begint op 28 Maart in LA dan staan de heren op een draaiend platform, en Bono heeft weinig zin om bv. midden in One te moeten kosten van duizeligheid.quote:

Disappointment with U2.com was the opening topic on today's Dave Fanning radio show on RTE's 2FM. Prompted by an article in the Irish Mirror headlined "U2.CON", Fanning took calls from a handful of U2 fans, most of whom shared their frustration with the membership costs for the band's official site as well as the long-running and continuing problems U2.com and Fanfire are having in executing the new online fan club (i.e. letters not arriving, Propaganda discounts not being applied, fans being overcharged and/or double-charged, etc.).
After the fans spoke, Sebastian Clayton -- Adam's brother, who has overseen U2.com since its launch -- spoke with Fanning for about five minutes, saying he "saw the article, and did laugh." He also commented on the article and what the fans had told Fanning earlier in the show:
'We're still providing a really good service for free for fans, they're getting all the news, they're getting all the latest videos, audio, that kind of stuff. But if they (fans) want extra stuff, they can pay for it. We're not trying to rip them off. We're providing extra content and extra stuff. There is a cost to us, and we're passing it along."
"There have been a few technical problems purely because it's been so popular. But we do have a support team online 24 hours a day, and we have been getting through all this backlog of problems people have been having."
Sebastian later said the official tour announcement will be made on U2.com "hopefully in the next couple of weeks." The interview has been archived on Dave Fanning's web site:

While we wait for the peeps at U2.com to make the official announcement of U2’s forthcoming world tour, U2log.com has an announcement of its own to make. We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with The Event Transportation System (ETS), the official travel and tour operator for the U2 world tour. Mja idd, dat Vertigo komt mij ook erg de neus uit ondertussen - je wordt er op de radio mee doodgegooid en op elke single staan er remixen op, ipv een stel fatsoenlijke b-kantjes. Erg jammer. Maarja, commercieel he... je moet wát als de hele muziekbusiness is ingestort... Maargoed, ze zullen wel niet twintig keer Vertigo gaan spelen tijdens het concert waar ik hoop kaartjes voor te kunnen krijgen... *duim*

Nu nog echt 2 dagen geduld en dan weet iedereen of ie zijn vakantie moet verzetten. ruzie moet maken met zijn vriendin, etc ....

Anders wordt vandaag niet aangekondigd dat de tourdata maandag worden gepresenteerd,

Echt spectaculair materiaal is het niet, maar wel interessant om o.a. vroege versies van Vertigo (Native Son) en Fast Cars (Xanax and Wine) te horen.
