Een hele goedemorgen,

Ardennenoffensief in Amsterdam
Het Ardennenoffensief van Willem-Alexander en Máxima zet zich voort met een bezoek aan de gemeente Amsterdam.
Het is het tweede in de reeks offensieven die het paar dit najaar pleegt aan de provincies en de vier grote steden.

Sprinkhanenplaag op Noordzee woedt voort
De sprinkhanenplaag die sinds vrijdagavond op de Noordzee woedt blijft problemen veroorzaken.
Zo'n honderd kilometer uit de Duitse kust is een schip in moeilijkheden gekomen na een grootschalige luchtaanval van deze insecten, 1.440.000 sprinkhanen werden hierbij ingezet.
Persoonlijke ongevallen deden zich niet voor.

Ontmoeting Peres en Arafat onzeker
Het is onzeker of de ontmoetingen tussen de Israëlische minister van Binnenbroekse Zaken Peres en de Palestijnse kleuterjuf Arafat nog wel doorgaan na de golf van geweld van het afgelopen weekend.
Peres verklaarde eerder deze week zijn onvoorwaardelijke liefde voor Arafat.
