Maar aan de andere kant.. de tune van commando zou ik wel eens willen horen over een dikke PA heen..

Heb zonet funk d'void en MRI uit de fonotheek gehaald, samen met iets van thomas fehlmann, en ik wist niet dat er zoveel pauzemuziekjes werden gemaakt. 't is niet dat het lelijk is, maar die muziek inspireert me totaal niet.
Wat op zich wel erg vervelend is, want ik had eigenlijk best wel trek in een berg nieuwe lekkere muziek.
(in dezelfde categorie: legowelt 'classics': zitten een paar goede nummers op, maar die raken helaas ondergesneeuwd doordat er a) veel te weinig variatie zit binnen de CD (yep, zo gaat electro wel erg snel vervelen) en b) doordat je hier en daar de link naar de oorspronkelijke new-wave plaatjes wel erg duidelijk hoort (blue monday-new order; stukken anne clarke; kraftwerk-referenties). Grrrr. )

Misschien al bekend, maar toch maar even plaatsen: DJ Rolando (oa bekend van zijn hit Night of the Jaguar) is weg bij Underground Resistance.

Due to unforeseen and sadly irreconcilable differences in respect of his partners in the Los Hermanos label - Rolando will make no further recordings with Los Hermanos and is seeking to amicably dissolve his partnership.
In response to the numerous enquiries by fans (and to avoid their disappointment) we wish to make it clear that Rolando will not be taking part in the current live tour with the band Los Hermanos.
Rolando has spent the last few months buried in the studio recording new material and is looking to create more diverse and creative relationships in future recordings and collaborations. He wishes to thank all of those who have supported him in taking this brave step forward to a new phase and he thanks them for their faith and encouragement in making this possible.

Het album valt zwaar tegen. Op twee of drie nummers na is het wat mij betreft een waardeloos album. Tenzij je van zoetige Duitse popzang over knullige beats houdt .
