Pfff... zowiezo dus nog wel een jaar voordat de opnames uberhaupt beginnen!

wel cool dat ze weer een film maken maar laat ze het alsjeblieft niet verneuken, zou eeuwig zonde zijn.

Zitten we daar na al die jaren nog écht op te wachten dan? *gaap*

Damn, ik dacht na het zien dat de OP uit 2004 was dat er nu wel een trailer zou zijn o.i.d.

Film lijkt me best vermakelijk, maar ook niet meer dan dat.

David Duchovny has confirmed a sequel to The X-Files movie is in the works - with himself and Gillian Anderson reprising the characters that made them famous. The actor, who played Agent Fox Mulder in both the cult TV series and 1998 movie, reveals X-Files creator Chris Carter and writer Frank Spotnitz are busy working on a script for the new film. The news comes after weeks of speculation surrounding Anderson's involvement in the project. Duchovny says, "This week, they're starting some kind of road towards doing it (the film). Gillian and I both want to be in it now. We're happy to do it. At this point all of the kind of fatigue and anxiety that we had towards the end of a nine-year run is gone." He jokes, "We've forgotten why we hate one another and can only remember why we love one another and we're very happy to go back. Chris and Frank are going over the story. It's a story they've had for a few years but we haven't all settled on the fact that we wanted to do it, so now they're hammering it out."

Duchovny . Als je die elke keer moet geloven, dan hadden we ondertussen al 8 X-Files films. In elke interview dat hij na het einde van de reeks heeft gegeven, begint hij over de nieuwe film die er al 10 jaar zit aan te komen.

Anderzijds begrijp ik 'm wel, hij dacht door de reeks gelanceerd te worden als allround filmster, maar dat is serieus tegengevallen. Ik vond het ook wel verrassend, ik dacht dat het hem wel zou lukken.

Ik heb eigenlijk wel zin in een sequel, als ie daadwerkelijk nog komt.

ga 'm zeker kijken maar lijkt er meer op van 'we hebben er echt heel erg zin in' dat ie bedoelt 'we hebben allebei niet zo een geweldige carriere meer en hebben geld nodig'

Ik geloof het pas als ik een trailer zie .

toevallig werd het net op de radio omgeroepen dat mulder en scully beide hebben toegezegd en dat er een nieuwe film komt

Whilst David Duchovny has been talking about further "X-Files" movies for a good decade, with no sequel in sight, his co-star Gillian Anderson has been more reluctant on the issue.

Now, talking with Empire Online, recent rumours of the franchise's resurrection may actually be on solid ground after all.

"They're starting to talk about doing a feature again. Every year or two they talk about it again, but it seems like it might be for real this time. Somehow it seems like somebody's really serious about it. I know that Chris' lawsuit with Fox is over, so maybe now it can be done" says Anderson.

Anderson has received no plot details from Carter, but she says he wants to do a stand-alone horror story that does not use the series' long-running alien conspiracy/government cover-up storyline. Production is tipped to likely start in 2008.

Zo'n soort gelijk bericht stond ook op filmtotaal.nl, ik ben echt echt erg benieuwd, hopelijk past dit verhaal dan toch nog enigzins in het standaard verhaallijn, blackflash of iets dergelijks, anders kan het net zo goed een horror film worden met twee andere agenten als onderzoekers,

Ik vind een paar X-Files afleveringen spannender dan de gemiddelde horror-film. Ga nu beginnen met seizoen 4, heb er zin in

Al een tijdje geen X-files meer gezien, maar die boxen van seizoen 8 en 9 liggen op de boekenplank voornamelijk vanwege het werk van Patrick. Karakteristieke kop, lekker cynisch, mooie oneliners hier en daar, oprecht spel. Zo worden ze niet meer gemaakt. (op House na, imho) Hij gaf voor mij nog een beetje waarde aan die laatste seizoenen, juist Gish vond ik lang niet altijd goed uit de verf komen. Eigenlijk had ze meer tijd moeten krijgen om erin te groeien. Maar dat oneindige gemier en gezwier tussen Mulder en Scully met die baby vond ik persoonlijk toch wel het grote dieptepunt aan het eind.

Dogett was goed. Punt.

Ben net met season 8 begonnen, maar mis Mulder wel hoor. Het is toch heel anders, denk bij elke episode hoe Mulder het aangepakt zou hebben. Moet zeggen dat de afleveringen wel redelijk sterk zijn aan het begin van 8.

Maar het zou wel vet zijn als Dogget ook in de film zou zitten!

Kan ik me goed voorstellen. Ik zag aflevering John Doe in (volgens mij) seizoen 9 toen ik verslaafd raakte en juist daardoor alle eerdere seizoenen doorploeterde. Ja, dan moet je even omslaan na 7 seizoenen. Het is vergelijkbaar met CSI, er is wel een gemene deler, maar de koppen maken het tot een hele andere tv-serie.
Maar na verloop van tijd werd ik toch ook wel fan van Doggett samen met Scully. Scully nu de 'gelovige' en Doggett de 'sceptisist'. Dus kom maar op met die film.

THIS IS A BLOG - IT IS THE FIRST AND THE LAST

I want to address the recent confusion around whether or not I enjoyed working on the X-Files which seems to have stemmed from out-takes of interviews past present and future as far as I can work out. I don't even know where to begin but I need to keep it short and with my claws in.

My experience is that whether I am asked about the X-Files or not in an interview, details about the series and my previous comments about the series are included in the text.

If I am asked about the series, and I ask to not stay too long on the subject due to the fact that I am promoting something else, I am frequently made out to be moody/abrupt/rude/dismissive you name it. If I do talk about the series, which I recently did as it was blatantly clear that the interviewer did not like the film I was promoting, I try to make it light and fun and not repeat myself as even I am sick of hearing the same old yarn.

What usually happens is that they ask about the long hours - I say yes they were long - they say, but you have said that at times it was a living hell and I say, yes at times it was... it was insane and long and wet and all that but there were good times too - and then the interviewer says provocatively - as if I'm either an idiot for staying in the series under such conditions or an idiot for saying it was so challenging when clearly it wasn't because I stayed - why didn't you get out? And my response which is as much incredulity that someone who has written for years about the television industry has either never heard of a contract or has the shallowness to pretend he has never heard of a contract - I say, "are you kidding me?! when you go to network you sign a contract even before your last audition".....

So the dilemma, do I go on explaining the X-F contract/salary details - as if he really cares - all the while injecting positive quips about the show and how grateful I am, or do I cut it short because I really don't want to be in this conversation yet again even though I know that no matter how nicely I request the end, it will, especially in this situation, be contorted to fit the snippy mood of the journalist. None of this has much of anything to do with my experience on the series let alone me as a person.

The series went on for a long time - longer than any of us had anticipated or some of us had wished. It was the hardest work I will ever do in my life. I hope for the sake of my children and my sanity that I never have to work that hard again.

Did I hate it? At times yes.

Did I love it? At times yes.

Did I regret it or do I regret it now? Not for a second.

Did David and I hate each other? At times yes like any brother and sister, husband and wife, co-worker and co-worker forced to spend that much time together under such strenuous circumstances.

Do we hate each other now? Not in the least.

Do I imagine that when we do the film together we won't hate each other for a few hours during the filming? No. We will. Vehemently. As David waits patiently, again and again for the hair dryer to calm my frizzy hair between takes so it matches the beginning of the scene... he will undoubtedly be thinking "what the hell was I thinking agreeing to shoot with her f****** frizzy hair again?"

But we will also love each other and laugh with each other and pull pranks on each other and bug each other like we did for nine years.

And that's that.

Ik ben benieuwd of er echt een tweede film gaat komen. Hoever zijn ze met onderhandelen en zo?

Despite all the internet buzz, talk of an "X-Files" sequel seems a bit premature from the sounds of it.

Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny have both been keen on the idea in recent interviews, whilst last week producer Frank Spotnitz said "A script is indeed in development" on his blog.

Now, a Spotnitz associate emailed Wired News this week and cooled down the talk a little - "Frank is very sorry but he cannot make any comments about XF2 right now but would be thrilled to talk when the time comes."

When will that be? "A sequel to 'X-Files' has been in development for quite a while." Have the leads committed to the project yet? "It's not anywhere near that level yet."

Interesting. The talk of readying this for 2008 seems to be premature if the script is still at such an early stage. Should be interesting to see who'll say something next.

Lijkt me vet als er weer een film komt, maar die moet dan eigenlijk wel weer over het alien conspiracy gebeuren gaan EN na de laatste aflevering zijn. Want eigenlijk was het einde niet bevredigend.

Ja maar de vraag zal zijn. Zal het einde van de film wel bevredigend zijn?
Ik bedoel, als er een film komt moeten wel de volgende mensen in zitten:

- Mulder
- Scully
- Doggett
- Reyes
- Skinner

En hopelijk, maar jah.. of dat mogelijk is...

- CSM
- Krycek
- Rohrer

Wellicht een leuk plot dat iets met The Lone Gunmen te maken heeft?
Wellicht hebben ze een leuk video-testament achtergelaten ofzo met interessante conspiracies?

Gisteren met het laatste seizoen begonnen *snik*. Hopelijk schieten ze dus een beetje op met die film. Wordt wel flink afkicken als ik er doorheen ben vrees ik.

Een leuke afkickmanouvre is om The Lone Gunmen te gaan kijken.
Alleen de laatste aflevering is dan eigenlijk niet zo leuk als je The X-Files achter de rug is.

Heb er een bloedhekel aan wanneer een serie afloopt, Friends, X-Files altijd jammer. Zit ook te hopen op een nieuwe X-Files film en misschien daarna wel weer nieuwe seizoenen ?

Of eerst een paar afleveringen van The X-Files, dan een weekje The Lone Gunmen kijken en dan verder met het laatste seizoen van The X-Files

Wat ze zelf als zegt; ieder ander jaar zijn er geruchten, die worden ook steeds sterker, dus ik moet het nog zien hoor. Alhoewel het van mij zeker wel zou mogen.

Hoop dat de film er binnen 20 jaar toch wel is.

IGN Movies talked further with Duchovny who claims the reason he was sure about this script was because "I'm actually supposed to see it next week! Before I would just say that [there was a movie] because they told me, but now, after talking to Chris [Carter] -- he's been giving me progress reports - and he actually called yesterday, and said 'Next week, you should have something to read.'"

Will it be standalone? "It should be. It should be a one-off, yeah." As for potential filming dates? "I think it was November, for a summer release." When asked if that would be summer 2008."

Despite the claims studio 20th Century Fox, who owns The X-Files, has not confirmed the project.

Wel typisch dat je enkel en alleen Duchovny erover hoort. Van mij mag het trouwens wel gebeuren. Dan hoop ik wel dat ze er een goed regisseur op zetten ipv zo'n tv-serie regisseur en een goed verhaal.

Leuk gedaan. Alleen begin me zo langzaam aan wel te storen aan het gebruik van de score van requiem for a dream. Die tweede trailer bevat trouwens wel de nodige spoilers

Ik denk dat hij nog prima kan. Seizoen 8 vond ik wel verfrissend zonder Mulder eigenlijk. Voor sommige mensen is dat natuurlijk schoppen tegen heilige huisjes .

Ja das wel waar. Hij is erg snel oud geworden de afgelopen jaren.

Robert Patrick speelt ook in The Unit. Vind hem echt nog makkelijk kunnen. Toch zit het er niet in en dat vind ik bijzonder jammer.

2012 Staat toch centraal? Daar wordt toch naar toegewerkt? Dan lijkt mij het sterk dat ze met een prequel komen, ook al omdat Mulder en Scully toch wel wat ouder zijn geworden.
