If you do, then I am interested to know why you are apparently so quick to prevent free speech?
By the number of topics that are locked, it appears that you are rather strict and do not seem to allow views that fail to conform with your own world view.
I don't need to draw historical comparisons to demonstrate the concerns associated with such a stifling of free speech as I am sure you are well aware.
I just think that you are too harsh in your judgment. Too quick to lock and not easy going enough to allow for some valid differences of opinion and modes of expression.
It is difficult, almost impossible to find a nice place to chat with Dutch people, as the Dutch are so often really inhospitable and rude... look up "Dutch Uncle" in almost any English dictionary to see how non-Dutch people regard the Dutch. Yvonne and Nicky you have just further reinforced this perception, and not just with me either.
This is unfortunate. It is regrettable that this board isn't a friendlier and more welcoming place.
Perhaps you should rethink your attitude and be a little bit more easy going. Not everyone thinks like you do.
Be less quick to judge and lock topics. Respect others, even though you may disagree. Help make this a better happier world.
If you have taken the effort to read this far I will end by saying,

Melbourne has a very European flavour. A great many trees and greenery. It has trams and is the only Australian city to have such.
It is like the US here, with people of every color, dress and faith.
I like it here a lot but I want to move further south to Tasmania. I like the cold and pine trees... I grew up with the beach and surfing and I have had enough of that... you know we always want what we don't have.
I want some Dutch like weather... rain... cold... seriously. I have had enough of white sandy beeches, sun and surf. Maybe one day I'll go back but at the moment l like the cooler weather.
Melbourne is about 150kms long and 50kms wide... don't quote me. Everything here is huge and spread out.

I have a (maybe odd) question: after Tony David won the embassy, how did it affect the australian people? Did they (just as many dutch people) suddenly start playing the game or did they leave it as it was?
