Beverly Hills Cop II
Perfecte film in het genre. Geregisseerd door Tony Scott, en dat is te zien. Een actie-comedy met ballen zo gezegd. Waar nodig een broeierige sfeer, geweldig in beeld gebrachte overvallen, een uitstekende villian (Jurgen Prochnow), goeie grappen en een acceptabel verhaal zonder verdere pretenties.
Zelfde geldt eigenlijk voor Top Gun.
Een onvervalste machofilm waar niet moeilijk is gedaan over politieke correctheid dan wel het gebrek eraan. Gewoon spektakel in combinatie met mooifilmerij en ongegeneerde heldenverering. Dus...eigenlijk is Tony Scott een briljant regisseur.

Prachtige film, staat zelfs in mijn top10. Vind hem ook meerduidig, je kunt er verschillende dingen uithalen (vooral in die intriges tussen al die mannen... )! Erg ondergewaardeerd IMO.
