The movie is filled with hysterical women shouting and screaming, hell ( forgive me my foul language ) this could have been subtitled 'Scream 4 ' but there are some things I like about : as a person who spends a lot of her time trying to watch all of movies, I thought he was just great as .

The actresses playing the leads in their college days are perfectly cast. Several plot holes are not filled, notably...what happened to ?? Still, there is enough wacky fun and deli-cious repartee and tightly edited episodes to keep it all rolling until it's pretty cutesy en-ding. The film has obviously been shortened or altered in post-production, leaving many actors with either few or no lines at all, when their billing or status in Hollywood sug-gests that there was once more.

Even though the bloom has slightly worn off this comedy, it still has enough star power and zippy lines to make it an amusing diversion. The film works best upon first viewing. Once you've seen it twice, you can start to see through it's more formulaic aspects and sense more of it's tricks.

Perhaps I shouldn't have read the book first. Or perhaps it's a good thing I did, else I would have blamed for this vacuous, vapid, vile movie, and she doesn't deserve it.

The film should have been called something else; it doesn't deserve to bask in the book's praise. Where are the issues of self-image, age, mental illness, abuse, reconciliation, motherhood, and strength the girls in the book dealt with? Instead of seeing these topical themes unfurl, the viewer is saddled with the enactment of inanity, vanity, and greed by the three filmic "heroines".

Do yourself a favour: avoid the movie. *Especially* if you've read the book.

Ladies I know everybody gets revenge fantasies but please let show a little maturity. If this movie where made like John Travoltaīs white manīs burden, there would be total controversy. Taking that into account this movie is totally unfair, I donīt deny men have affairs with other women, but please ladies, you have also have had affairs. As Christ said: "Let the innocent cast the first stone".
