Had je dan niet beter een songtekst kunnen nemen die makkelijker te interpreteren is?
Iets van Aguilera of Mariah Carey ofzo? Daar ben je zo uit.

In mijn ogen gaat het nummer over de onvermijdelijke aspecten van het leven. En dan lijden in het bijzonder.

Misschien kun je ook je eigen inzichten met ons delen.

Ik ken het nummer niet, Bob was nogal productief, dus weet het niet goed te plaatsen. Ik denk dat wanneer je de tekst wil verklaren je je moet verdiepen in de persoon. Heeft hij het geschreven op Jamaica of nadat hij naar Engeland gegaan is? Wist hij toen al dat hij ongeneeslijk ziek was? Dit soort informatie heb je mijns inziens wel nodig om de tekst te verklaren. De trompet is een van de trompetten uit Openbaringen, die het einde der tijden of armageddon aankondigen. Bob Marley zag hemel en hel als een 'state of mind', dus waarschijnlijk zag hij ook armageddon als een state of mind. Lyrics van Bob Marley zijn vaak moeilijk uit te leggen, omdat ze hele diepe betekenissen hebben, maar die hij verwoord in bepaalde uitdrukkingen.

Ik zal ns rondvragen of anderen nog een idee hebben over Natural Mystic.
