Mario Kart Double Dash being shown. The animation is looking very smooth. Now, Pikmin 2 looks very similar to Pikmin, but with more enemies.
Pokemon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire for GBA. Looks like a good pinball game. Now showing Wario Ware Inc. with all those little mini games.
Super Mario Brothers 3 is coming out as Super Mario Advance 4. Big cheers to that. Now Billy Hatcher with big enemies, smooth motion. Looks nice.
Donkey Kong Country for GBA looks just like the SNES version. Wario World for GameCube looks really good with lots of action, looks like a 3rd person adventure.
Star Fox, you can see third- and first-person action. It looks very cool, almost like a 3D Contra, looks very smooth, like the 64 version.

The arcade classic that gobbled up millions of fans is back with a wild multi-player twist as Nintendo and Namco form a Pac-Man pact! Nintendo's own Shigeru Miyamoto, driven by his desire to create an updated version of his favorite game, Pac-Man, contacted the game's original creator, Mr. Iwatani of Namco, for this project. Pac-Man, which debuted in 1980, is one of the definitive arcade games of all time. It has generated many hit sequels, though nothing like this! Pac-Man must navigate mazes, eating Pac-dots, Fruit, and Power Pellets as he dodges hungry ghosts. The game plays like the original arcade classic -- but this time, human characters control the ghosts!Features
An innovative rendition of the arcade favorite, three players control the ghosts on the television screen while the fourth player, controlling Pac-Man, tries to avoid them on the Game Boy Advance. When a ghost eats Pac-Man, it's time to pass that Game Boy Advance to the winning ghost, and continue the fun!The lead player, viewing the entire maze on the Game Boy Advance, must avoid the other three players controlling the ghosts on the television screen. To raise the tension factor, the three ghost players can only see part of the maze around their characters. Pac-Man must clear all the Pac-dots in each maze to progress to the next.

Twenty games will be on the show floor, as well as the Game Boy Player. Basically you can play your GB games on your GameCube, we know about it. He's talking a bit about the e-Reader, but nothing new about it.Mr. Iwata, President of Nintendo, has taken the stage. He's speaking about GameCube, and how it didn't sell as well as they liked it to. Mario Sunshine and Metroid did not hit their expectations. He is saying they have not yet demonstrated why GCN and GBA connectivity is important. Big challenges are ahead for Nintendo, he says.
They understand the challenges, and now it's a matter of action. They are increasing the size of their development teams and are opening a Tokyo office. They are also looking at third-party outreach, now he's talking about the Triforce with Namco and Sega.
At the arcade with F-Zero, you can download options and custom racers to take home with you. Now they're showing Star Wars Rogue Squadron.
-- Rogue Squadron video --
Lots of activity, it looks a lot like the past one but a lot clearer. It looks like the movie, but not quite as fast. Still quite fast. Tons of TIE fighters everywhere, a lot of action. The animation looks very good, looks a lot better than the previous title. That's over now.
Factor 5 is working on another exclusive, which we will be hearing about soon.
Now they're talking about Soul Calibur II. Now several exclusive for Capcom, and they are saying Resident Evil 4 is exclusive.
-- Resident Evil 4 video --
Creator of Resident Evil is now on video. He just said Resident Evil 4 is exclusive to GameCube. He said the Capcom games are so original they will blow your mind away, and RE4 is so scary "you will pee your pants."
Nspace is announced as a new developer. They have a GameCube exclusive title, a FPS where your character can jump from character to character. Looks really good, looks very good. Multiplayer looks like a deathmatch with great animation.
-- Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles video --
This looks better than Final Fantasy X, graphics wise. No GBA is needed for the game.

Shigeru Miyamoto has just taken the stage. He's about to show us something. He says we're very lucky to be here this morning. Now his translator is coming out here. Now, right after his translator, EA's and The Sims' Will Wright has come out. They are developing two versions of the Sims, a totally new version for the GBA and the new expanded version for GameCube. There will be connectivity.
You can visit your town on the GBA to the GameCube, or vice versa. You can share your people with other gamers. Two GBAs can be connected on the same system for sharing.
Now the EA President has come out, and he has announced Bond, Medal of Honor, Madden, Lord of the Rings, SSX 3, NBA Live, a few EA Sports games, and more coming to GameCube

E3 2003: GEIST
May 13th 2003 21:34 by Tim
Live from the conference Cube-Europe brings you first details on GEIST, a newly announced First-Person Adventure for the Nintendo GameCube, developed by Nintendo!
In the hallways, labs and chambers of a shadowy compound, an unseen power is lurking. As a ghostly Spectral Operative, players must search for a physical body, which is mysteriously being kept alive somewhere in the enormous complex. Players won't always be alone though--as they explore, they must collect the energies of indigenous spirits to help unravel a mystery and build their own power. Some will help ... but beware, for not all the spirits are friendly. Prepare for a first-person adventure with a spectral twist!
Nintendo just showed footage of this game at the conference. We will put up screens of this game in a little bit!
Here is a breakdown features:
Explore the compound as a ghost, then possess more than a dozen unique character types using their weapons, equipment, skills, and even memories, to complete your goals. Possessions range from soldiers with guns to dog- and mouse-like creatures that can perform specialized physical tasks.
Choose different characters and see the world in different ways.
Travel through the human world virtually unseen, using your abilities to slip through cracks, interfere with electronics, move objects and more. Face challenges from two unique angles--as a possessed human or a lurking spirit hunting its prey.
Prepare for death matches with the dead in all-new multiplayer modes that combine first-person combat with unique ghost and possession mechanics.

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords for GameCube just announced. It's a GBA game you play on the GameCube, and it looks just like Link to the Past. You have to have a GBA to play it, but it's played on GameCube. Every time you enter a house or dungeon, the action there will take place on the GBA.
Basically, it's a GCN game with the GBA as a controller, and it will be playable tomorrow.
Now, Miyamoto's saying how he's a huge Pac Man fan, and he's made a game for GameCube. He hasn't gotten Namco's approval, but he has just introduced Mr. Atawani from Namco, the creator of Pac Man, to ask for approval.
It's a four player GCN game, but it looks like they also have GBAs hooked up. You can play it with the GBA as a controller. The GBA version is the same as the original game. You can use the GBA or GCN controllers. The name is Pac-Man for GameCube, tentative title. He just asked for appoval, and he has approved it.
The GCN is being played now, seems three players are ghosts and one person is Pac Man. Whoever is using the GCN pad sees it onscreen in 3D, and whoever is PacMan with the GBA sees it as the old school Pac Man. Whoever is using the GBA gets to see the whole screen. Whoever catches Pac Man then becomes Pac Man.
Game Summary
The story takes place on an unknown planet in the not-too-distant future. On this world, a surge in crime involving dangerous, miniature robotic weapons known as Custom Robos occurs. Those that manipulate the Custom Robos are commonly called Commanders, and through specialized training, they learn to manipulate the robots actions through the use of brain waves. One day, the hero and his comrades learn of an incredibly strong robot with autonomous maneuvering capabilities. In their search for a logical explanation regarding the existence of this powerful foe, the hero and his comrades uncover a secret about an event that occurred on this planet several hundred years ago ...
Features
Leap into a mechanized melee! Hone your skills in the single-player role-playing game as you progress through a deep sci-fi storyline.
Make your own soldier! Customize robots by choosing from more than 200 different parts and weapons, then test their one-of-a-kind abilities against other robots in one of 30 battle arenas.
See if your custom robot can survive the frantic, chaotic action of a four-player battle royale, two-on-two vs. Battle mode, or Tag-Team battle match!
Battle it out with three other players on a single screen (rather than split-screen), and enjoy a great multi-player party experience. You can customize your own robot, then test its power in battle arenas against other players robots.

-- Twin Snakes video --
No gameplay yet, just some drawings. The game is based on a nuclear genetic crisis. Now they're showing gameplay, it looks better than the PS2 version, a lot better. It's hard to tell what's going on. It's a trailer with ingame graphics but not showing too much gameplay. Terrorists are threatening the White House with a nuclear attack. This is made by Silicon Knights they just showed. They're not really showing a lot of gameplay yet, a lot of dialogue though.
Nintendo gaat wel een hele andere kant op nu met Zelda.

Now they're showing a montage of games mentioned earlier, including Viewtiful which is looking great. Final Fantasy Tactics, Advance Wars 2 being shown for GBA. Sword of Mana for GBA.
Metroid Prime 2 "coming soon." Looks just like the first, but better actually. 1080 is looking fantastic now, the graphics look similar to SSX. Enter the Matrix has a lot of Matrix effects like bullettime. F-Zero GX is fast, way fast. It's very fast. That was the end of that montage.
Nintendo is focused and ready to take risks. They are already working on GameCube 2, and this time they will not give anyone a headstart. They are going to do it their way. Now, there is a Q and A session beginning.
Q: With the announcement of the PSP, what will GBA have to do to hold the market?
A: We just heard the announcement, and their launch date is Q4 2004 with no price point yet. It seems very Sony-like to me. Nintendo is in control of the handheld market so we're not worrying about it. We'll just keep on innovating in games.
Q: If Nintendo pursues its current strategy, are you comfortable with where you are or do you want to be the leader?
A: The more our competitors move away from gaming, the stronger we will get for sticking with pure gaming.
