De kogel is door de kerk. Na eerdere berichten dat Sarah Michelle Gellar zou stoppen met Buffy The Vampire Slayer, is nu duidelijk geworden dat UPN meteen de stekker trekt uit de hele serie. In de Verenigde Staten is men nu in seizoen 7 (vanaf de herfst hier op Net5), maar daarna is het einde verhaal.
Geruchten gaan dat UPN een spinoff zou overwegen, maar geeft daarover zelf nog geen uitsluitsel.

Note: Wellicht is dit geen nieuws meer voor de lezers van het 'Buffy s7 & Angel s4' topic, maar velen (waaronder ikzelf) lezen dit topic niet omdat er uiteraard veel gedetailleerde informatie in staat aangaande seizoen 7, dat hier in Nederland nog niet op de buis is geweest.
