Tvtips:quote:Round two! There’s so much warmth and heart from Claude in the verses. You can tell he means every word to baby Claude. Cool and confident as he moves around the stage. There’s even a hint of raspy growl to lure the jury with
ESCTom:quote:🇳🇱: Excellent from Claude. Solid all round.

Beautiful vocals, energy and joy in his eyes. Vulnerable but professional ❤
quote:Claude gets through 'C'est la vie' fine but he's on the edge at times and it's a reminder how demanding this is as a live song. Still stands out as a class entry #Eurovision 2025
ESCDailyquote:In the first few sentences, Claude appears nervous for the lower notes. He misses one: at the word "remember". When the beat drops in, Claude misses the same note twice at the "lalala"-part. Second verse is solid, second chorus as well, although Claude is sometimes slightly on the edge. He keeps jurors at the edge of their seat, and that is not a good thing: they can't simply relax and trust Claude to sing on-key automatically.
We are listening to a very jury friendly song. C’est la vie has a classical structure, it is radio friendly, mainstream and very middle of the road. The performance breathes inoffensive too, supported by the easy going message of the lyrics. Not many people will be outspoken about hating this song, giving it an edge in the current structure of jury voting. It may be the most jury friendly composition we have seen so far. Think of Sweden 2019.
