Het is al eerder gezegd: de Democratische modelstaat is niet zozeer Californië maar Massachussets, Vermont of Connecticut. Wat een enorme puinhoop is dat zeg (het HDI van Massachussets is zo een beetje het hoogste van de hele wereld, mocht dat een land op zichzelf zijn)
