Sounded like two days for jury selection starting that Monday. 8 jurors, 4 alternates with a questionnaire sent out 6-7 weeks in advance to a special jury pool.
UFC’s motion to exclude the forensic accountant Guy Davis is denied but they can try again once Judge B has seen all the trial briefs and exhibits.
Plaintiffs said they expect to use a fair amount of deposition videos as well as “other” video clips. Can you guess the other vids?
One thing we still don’t know is if there are any Bill Gates-type depo videos or not.
And one more thing, both sides agreed the trial should take 4 weeks.

Apparently, in Ontario, the original rule is used for grounded fighters, prior to the several changes that have been made in other jurisdictions over the years. Weight-bearing does not matter.
If any part of the body other than the soles of the feet are on the mat, a blow to the head from a kick or knee is illegal. One of those knees were illegal under that version. Referee Marc Goddard halted the action, but didn't take a point. Did the best job he could considering.
