Idee voor volgend tournament - Deel VI
Beste film van 2020
Het is weer tijd voor het jaarlijkse toernooi om de beste film van het afgelopen filmjaar te kiezen. Het gaat hierbij om de films die in 2020 in Nederland voor het eerst (dus geen re-releases) zijn uitgebracht in de bioscoop of op blu-ray/dvd, on demand of tv in première zijn gegaan.
De opzet is hierbij grotendeels hetzelfde als de afgelopen jaren: ik heb een voorselectie gemaakt op basis van de MovieMeter en FilmVandaag-releaselijst. Het kan zijn dat deze selectie niet helemaal volledig is.
De voorselectie bestaat uit de volgende films:

Deze lijst is echter nog niet definitief: voordat we van start gaan kunnen films in of uit de lijst van 64 films gestemd worden. Hebben jullie daarom films die toegevoegd moeten worden, of juist films die verwijderd moeten worden? Post dit dan hier.
Op 1 april maak ik de stand op en kunnen we - eventueel na een korte voorronde - van start gaan. Aangezien 2020 qua (bioscoop)aanbod in ieder geval geen topjaar was, lijkt het mij beter om deze keer met 64 in plaats van 128 films te beginnen.

Mijn favorieten zitten al in de lijst, dus ik wacht de volgende ronde even af

Ik ben niet (meer) zo van de hedendaagse films. De blu-ray van A Hidden Life zou trouwens binnenkort wel in de bus moeten vallen. Terrence Malick ftw.

Met mijn bioscoop abonnement zie ik normaal tientallen films per jaar. Uit de al korte lijst van dit jaar heb ik er acht gezien, waarvan ik er vier goed vond en geen één fantastisch.
Als niemand daar voor 1 april bezwaar tegen maakt, dan zullen we dat maar doen. Anders wordt er waarschijnlijk wel erg weinig gestemd.quote:Op zondag 14 maart 2021 18:06 schreef Mike het volgende:

Maar al deze films zou ik pas toevoegen als iemand anders ze ondersteund, want ik gok dat het aantal stemmers anders nog kariger wordt. Maar het zijn in elk geval tips als je wil ontdekken dat er toch nog prima films uitgekomen zijn afgelopen jaar.

Alvast een mededeling voor de finale: daarin zou ik wel - net als in voorgaande jaren - de regel willen hanteren dat je alleen mag stemmen indien je beide films gezien hebt. Het gaat dan immers nog maar om twee films (die ook niet bepaald obscuur zijn), zodat je hooguit één film dient te gaan kijken. Bovendien is het handig bij een gelijkspel, dan kunnen de mensen die maar één van de twee films hebben gezien alsnog stemmen en de doorslag geven.
