Ze zouden natuurlijk voor beide in moeten grijpen. Maar dat er één keer niet ingegrepen wordt betekent niet dat ze dan aan de andere kant ook maar iets door de vingers moeten zien. Dat zou pas écht achterlijk zijn.quote:

Sommige regels zijn vrij zwart-wit en andere niet. VAR is vooral geschikt voor die eerste categorie (bal over de lijn, buitenspel, rollende bal, etc). Om VAR nou maar af te gaan schaffen omdat ze een beslissing over het grijze gebied maken die je niet aanstaat lijkt me wat onnodig.
Dat is zeker waar. Maar die hele selectiviteit van de VAR slaat gewoon nergens op. Gebruik de VAR gewoon alleen nog voor goal/geen goal en buitenspel en je haakt veel irritatie en onterechte fouten al weg.quote:

Volgens mij zagen we bij AZ- Ajax wel dat een VAR erbij nogal welkom is.
