LOOOOL! Steve leest in de NY Times dat iemand zei dat quarantine op het schip een duidelijke failure was. En Steve vindt het jammer dat er niet meer uitleg staat, want hij snapt niet waarom die professor dat vindt...

En wat dat testen betreft, de WHO zegt enkel dat landen alle "suspect cases" moeten testen.
Hun definitie van een suspect case:
"Contacts" moeten hun verplaatsingen beperken, en moeten 2 weken gemonitord worden, maar dat kan via de telefoon (maw vragen of ze zich niet ziek voelen). testen is pas nodig wanneer ze "suspect cases" worden.quote:A. Patient with severe acute respiratory infection (fever, cough,
and requiring admission to hospital), AND with no other
etiology that fully explains the clinical presentation AND a
history of travel to or residence in China during the 14 days
prior to symptom onset,
OR
B. Patient with any acute respiratory illness AND at least one
of the following during the 14 days prior to symptom onset:
a)
contact with a confirmed or probable case of
2019-nCoV infection, or
b) worked in or attended a health care facility where
patients with confirmed or probable 2019-nCoV
