Je bent wel echt pittig lang ziek zeg. Een griepje van drie á vier weken lijkt me echt zwaar klote. Ik had echt al veel meer recoveries verwacht.

Veel mensen merken van een lichte longontsteking niet eens erg veel, alleen als het erg is zit je ervan thuis. Dus het kan goed zijn dat mensen denken dat ze een stevige verkoudheid hebben, en het niet de moeite waard vinden om naar de dokter te stappen terwijl het wel om dit coronavirus gaat.

Verkoudheid is immers óók een variant van een coronavirus.

Het is ergens ook wel weer een piepklein beetje grappig, ware het niet dat het best ernstig is.

Je gaat in quarantaine om te voorkomen dat je anderen besmet (in het geval dat je zelf positief bent), wordt ondertussen getest, en vervolgens wordt er doodleuk iemand waarvan achteraf blijkt dat ie positief test tussen de 200 andere evacuees in gezet. Met als gevolg...dat je misschien nu alsnog/inderdaad positief gaat testen.

Ergens best wel ironisch eigenlijk.

A man accused of imitating a coronavirus victim by collapsing on a subway train in central Moscow this month was arrested and will face up to five years in prison if found guilty, law enforcement officials have said.

In a video of the prank, a man is seen collapsing in the middle of a subway car. After other passengers try to assist him, he begins convulsing.

Others, believed to be accomplices, shout, “Coronavirus here, move out quickly!” The yelling prompts a panic in the car, with passengers scrambling for the exits.

The suspect was identified as Karomatullo Dzhabarov, a Moscow district court said on Monday. Two people suspected of being accomplices in the Feb. 2 prank were also held and their homes searched, the police said.

An Instagram account apparently belonging to Mr. Dzhabarov said, “Friends, we have not touched anybody, we have filmed this video for people to get serious about coronavirus.”

Terwijl Thailand niet heeft gerapporteerd dat er in een gevangenis daar het virus heerst.

Niet dat ze er iets om geven daar natuurlijk.
