Canadian winters are very cold, but are there a lot of troubles with traffic and public transport?
How do Canadians survive the winters?

We were born to survive the winters here. They aren’t really that cold to me. Then again I was born in January. As to traffic problems they generally relate to people that don’t know how to drive.

Cool, my mother spent her childhood in and around Toronto. Visiting that area is on my bucket list. :)

Do English speaking Canadians view themselves as different from French speakers?
pi_190316826
I am part French myself actually. But to be honest I forgot the language mostly due to not using it. And as to the treaty question. I actually didn’t study history too thoroughly in school. Wasn’t my favourite subject.

So French you say? At least from the past. So can I think parents went to the USA? Or Canada?

But is there a language divide between the English and French speaking parts? Like we see in Belgium, where there are large cultural differences and politcal issues?
pi_190318047
There is some kind of a dividing between the languages. But not a whole lot. There are some places that you can only go to if you nanowire French though.

Even I can answer this: you can use anything that burns as fuel for a fire. No matter whether you're in the wilderness or not.

But I guess all Canadians learn both languages in school?
