The focus in the camera work has slightly shifted from the dancers more to Waylon himself. The visual performance of Waylon has definitely improved. The dancers come across less aggressively, especially because they smile more during their dances. The sharp edges have been removed. Vocals were good as before. (escdaily)

The performance still looks really odd on camera with uncomfortable imagery associated to it. The dancers are now no longer running out to the far catwalk to do gymnastics.
Smoke for the second run through at the start of the performance. The song is still a qualifier, but in the final it’s probably going to struggle to replicate their previous success.
Another good run through, while it may no longer be a contender for victory in the betting odds it will still get through to the final. (eurovoixxx)

The staging for the Netherlands is the exact same as in the first rehearsal…yes, the bizarre dancing has been kept in the performance. As a reminder:Waylon is joined by four dancers on a podium. He is standing a bit higher than the others. Waylon is only standing on his higher podium with his guitar and sings while his dancers dance around him. Later one dancer does backflips on the catwalk. In the beginning, his dancers are “playing” guitars and one on the drums, before they drop off the podium. Waylon’s vocals are undeniably perfect for this and the backing vocals work well with the lead singer.Waylon and his backing dancers’ outfits are the exact same as they were in the first rehearsal – Waylon has kept the cheetah print jacket. To qualify or not to qualify?
We have taken a flash poll from around the ESCXTRA table here in the press centre and 8 out of 9 of us say… YES! (escxtra)

The song itself is not that bad, it's a light country rock song and has all the decent requisite parts that anyone who listens to this genre expects. It's the staging that's still the problem. The first time round - let's not pull our punches - it came over as racist. It pitched Waylon as the supreme white guy. Everything about the design led by artistic director Hans Pannecoucke said that.
The delegation has, thankfully, played that down somewhat, bu* when the Krumping dancers kick in (who are excellent at what they do, for the record), Waylon points at them, and whilst he is in that leopardskin jacket, it doesn't sit well. Also they still seem to be doing jazz hands towards him in the middle eight, which also looks awkward. Add to that Waylon's 'smug twat' expression ... well, you get the idea.
This will qualify, definitely - and if you close your eyes, it's a serviceable tune - but with all the business going on, it just *feels* wrong. (oneurope)

The first of today's rehearsals from Waylon sees another vocally impressive performance from there. There's nothing really to complain about there, whether you like the song or not. The screeches are in tune, and very 'rock 'n' roll'. Sadly it's the same slightly bizarre staging, with the four dancers leaping around and body popping as before, complete with the lepoard print jacket. Waylon knows he's good - but it could seem a little bit too smarmy for the voting audience.(escbubble)

Richard – The Bet Lynch outfit is still there. It hasn’t improved in any sort of way, but it’s bound to qualify.
Bogdan: I like the song, I’m tapping my feet to it. I don’t like the choice for the staging because it just looks a bit too weird. Again, I can’t fault his vocals, but I wish that all made sense – what’s your message Netherlands?
JAMES: A lot of people had high hopes for Waylon’s returning to the Eurovision stage. A country western/rock song was always going to be divisive when it came to votes, but this staging… yikes… literally nothing about this works. In his leopard print house coat, Waylon is joined by a troupe of dancers/musicians but appears above all of them on a platform. Trying to crowbar urban dancing into this number looks awkward enough any way, but the whole number ends up feeling quite unpleasant as Waylon sneers over everyone else on stage. Waylon sings well and it’s a decent enough song, but this staging… (eurovisionireland)

I still don't like the song, the routine, or anything made of leopard, but here's a few things it has going for it:
Waylon's voice
Waylon's eyes
