Grrm is altijd al traag geweest.
Ik geloof er niks van dat hij in die jaren 2 volle boeken heeft geschreven van dit formaat, terwijl hij ook bezig was met talloze kleine projectjes.

Hij had natuurlijk al wel flink wat materiaal wat hij eerst in Dance wilde stoppen, maar wat hij uiteindelijk in Winds stopt. En Dance en Feast heeft hij ook al tegelijkertijd zo'n beetje geschreven omdat dat eigenlijk één groot verhaal is. En ik zou wel begrijpen dat hij de laatste twee boeken ook wat gelijk schrijft zodat hij alles goed kan finetunen in de opbouw.quote:
