TRICKY - VULNERABLE (May 19)
The new Tricky album, Vulnerable, is in stores on Monday 19th May 2003. Released on Epitaphs Anti label, it is the follow-up to his much-acclaimed 2001 CD, Blowback. 'Vulnerable' - will be released May 19 with a bonus DVD featuring "interviews, photo gallery, clips, live performances". There will also be a bonus enhanced CD with the video for 'Antimatter', "guerilla-style films" and an interview with Tricky. The first single will be 'Antimatter'.

Tricky is back and back with some of his best material for years. Famous for his work with Massive Attack, in particular on 'Blue Lines' and 'Protection', Tricky has been involved with some of the most influential music of the 1990's.
Hailing from and helping invent the Bristol Trip-Hop scene, Tricky released his first solo work 'Maxinquaye' in 1995. Universally hailed as one of the best albums of the decade, it shot straight to number two in the charts. Since then Tricky has somehow managed to fit in work with underground New York hip-hop acts, tour extensively and release more awesome albums, including the punk influenced 'Pre-Millennium Tension' and 'Angels With Dirty Faces'. The guy must live in a studio!!

Draai de laatste tijd vooral Pre-millennium Tension weer grijs. Toch wel m'n favoriete Tricky plaat. Iemand enig idee of meneer nog met iets nieuws gaat komen binnenkort?
