The Broadcasting of the Finals of the England National Singles Open will be shown live on Saturday 16th June, transmission from 4.30pm – 7.30pm featuring the Semi-Finals and Finals of both the Mens and Ladies. The following day, Sunday will feature live coverage of the grand Finals of the England Open, featuring last 8 Men, Semi-Finals of the Ladies & Mens, along with the Finals of Mens’, Ladies, and Youth Finals, all commencing at 3.00pm – 9.00pm.

Kwalificatie WDT, Met Padgett is boos:

Have no idea who beat me and Dave Pallett in the last two rounds to qualify for the WDT today, but him and his “team” were a frigging (a word used because I can’t tell the truth) disgrace. Can’t wish well for somebody like that, after already being told off by me for having conversations with his mates behind my back while I’m throwing never mind anything else, and me making a hash of a simple 4-2 win... at 3-3 with me nearly 100 up on his throw his lady friend came racing over in front of me as I was stepping up, stopped me from throwing, just to give him a double vodka red bull (which he necked, illegal in bdo rules)! Seriously!? And then 1 throw later ran across me to go back the other way. Talk about having a Gi(frigging)raffe Just been told had I stopped the game and pointed it out he would’ve been eliminated... never mind... 1 proper game away from WDT FFrigSake slightly tired of this

De BDO World Trophy kan echter op weinig interesse rekenen vanuit de dartsfans, zo wordt gemeld op The Stars of Darts. Op woensdag 23 mei, een week voor de start van het toernooi, waren er slechts 196 kaarten verkocht.

Voor de sessie van zondagmiddag 3 juni, wanneer de kwartfinales van de heren en de halve finales van de vrouwen op het programma staan, zijn pas acht tickets verkocht. De donderdagavond is vooralsnog het meeste in trek. Dan komen minimaal 49 fans op het toernooi in Preston af.

Voor de Winmau World Masters is nog geen geschikte locatie gevonden.
