Zaterdag 6 augustus wordt de eerste van negen dagen toptennis in Rio. Tijdens de eerste vijf dagen zal er vanaf 15:45 NL tijd geserveerd worden op de diverse banen, terwijl de verwachting is dat het dagelijks tot een uurtje of 04:00 zal duren.
De overige vier dagen, met de nodige halve finales en wedstrijden om de medailles, beginnen steeds om 17:00 NL tijd en duren grofweg tot de klok van 01:00 uur.
