Is it necessary or better to have a driver license to find a part-time job ?
There are 'ultra fast courses' of 10 days fulltime I think. But how fast you actually get it depends on your driving talents.quote:
The theoretical tests are quite tough.quote:
Just to be sure, do you already have a drivers license, obtained in France? In that case you can just exchange your French license for a Dutch license at your local municipality.quote:Op zaterdag 9 januari 2016 13:06 schreef juli3n het volgende:

You can keep it. But as a resident of the Netherlands you are not allowed to drive with a foreign license. Therefore after registering with the local authorities, you request to exchange your French License for a Dutch one. You do not need to pass some exams and also you do not need to pay fees, other than the fee that applies for issuing the card (just like people have to pay, when they prolong or lose their cards). Upon return to France you are able to exchange your Dutch license back to a French one.quote:Op zaterdag 9 januari 2016 16:59 schreef juli3n het volgende:

Okay, thanks, I've search on Internet and found that exchange in France is not required (except if you lose points) and in the Netherlands, as resident, you can drive during 15 years with a foreign license: https://www.rdw.nl/englis(...)sh/Driving%20licence & http://www.iamsterdam.com(...)ters/driving-licencequote:Op zondag 10 januari 2016 00:56 schreef vaduz het volgende:

You can get pretty much everywhere in the Netherlands with public transport so it isnt THAT necessary but in some cases it is handyquote:Op zaterdag 9 januari 2016 13:06 schreef juli3n het volgende:
