I still know the alphabet of course, and how to pronounce most of it, even the differences in modern Greek, so it's nice to be able to make sense of things such as road signs when driving there (still on the to do list) But other than that, I just enjoyed it, as I did with learning Latin. I never was a language lover, but being sorta forced into it did made me appreciate different languages more.

Dutch and English are fluent and native/near-native.
German is OK-ish, same as French. Have to get that back up to an acceptable level too. Once I'm in Germany/France for a couple of days things go quite well, but it's not 'brilliant', it's 'I can explain who I am, where I'm from and what I'm doing'

I have the same with German and i would love to learn French! And also better Icelandic, i can understand and read it a bit but i can't talk it.quote:

I used babbel.com for Danish, i will probably use it more often in the future for other languages.

You start to learn English in primary school. That's why Dutch people are the best in English of whole Europe.
