How many languages do you know yourself?quote:Op maandag 11 januari 2016 15:35 schreef motorbloempje het volgende:
I still know the alphabet of course, and how to pronounce most of it, even the differences in modern Greek, so it's nice to be able to make sense of things such as road signs when driving there (still on the to do list) But other than that, I just enjoyed it, as I did with learning Latin. But then again, I'm a language / literature lover
I have the same with German and i would love to learn French! And also better Icelandic, i can understand and read it a bit but i can't talk it.quote:Op maandag 11 januari 2016 15:43 schreef motorbloempje het volgende:
Dutch and English are fluent and native/near-native.
German is OK-ish, same as French. Have to get that back up to an acceptable level too. Once I'm in Germany/France for a couple of days things go quite well, but it's not 'brilliant', it's 'I can explain who I am, where I'm from and what I'm doing'.
Still want to learn Spanish, Mandarin, and Russian.
I'm a French native, my English is.. uhh.. idk, intermediate, I'm also doing Spanish at school (unfortunately) and learning Dutch on my free-time (and I don't have a lot anymore --").quote:Op maandag 11 januari 2016 15:41 schreef snakelady het volgende:
