Het is eigenlijk geheel passend dat zo'n land voorzitter is van die raad. Niet voor niets zijn de taken van die raad voornamelijk overgenomen door UNHCR. Als het in veel landen met de mensenrechten in de wereld slecht gaat is het logisch dat bij verkiezingen waarin alle landen mogen stemmen er veel van die landen in die raad komen, een passende voorzitter is er nu gevonden.
