This is the incredible moment a freak storm left British holiday-makers without a place to go after they were evacuated from their weather-battered holiday apartments.
Raging waters were seen flowing down streets and through homes as torrential rain caused havoc in the Spanish sunshine island of Menorca.
Around 80 tourists, many of who were British, were forced to leave their hotel apartment block of Las Arenas in Son Bou de Alaior because of fears that walls might collapse today.
These amazing scenes of a torrent of water running down the streets to the beach were captured on video today and posted on Youtube.

Storms have been affecting a wide area of Spain following weeks of scorching sunshine and Menorca felt the full force of the torrential rain.
All of the Balearics, including Ibiza and Formentera, were put on alert because of the freak weather which caused flooding across the island group.
Mahon on Menorca saw more than 50 litres of water per square metre and wiped out terraces of bars and restaurants, forcing customers to take refuge inside the premises.

Het gaat normaal toch over 30-40mm?
Edit: Oh watch, liter per vierkante meter ipv mm.
