Details from the local, Gas station exploded -> ignited two oil tanks nearby the chemical warehouse -> chemical exploded, the firefighters failed to put it out and a series of explosions triggered by the chemicals in the container terminal(Ethanol and others), all firefighters/police, people who watching nearby die on scene instantly.

The fact that chemical is concentrated in that area, people panic and concerns the releasing of toxic gases after the explosion, many evacuating caused road jam.

People from 10km away can feel the shockwave, windows shattered. The Donghai Road station is destroyed. Hospitals are overloaded with patients.

They said no one is alive within 1 km of the explosion(dead or evacuated, Not confrimed), the explosions happened in tanggu district which is close to residential area.(550meters away)

The total population of Binhai is 2.5 millions and the population density in the area is expected 2000/kmsq, expected injuries/casualties will be around 7000~70000.

There were two explosions, the first one is equals to 3 tons of TNT and the second one is 21 tons.

Beetje overdreven.
Krijgswet wordt toegepast als een regering niet meer in staat is te regeren, autoriteiten niet meer in staat zijn hulp te bieden aan burgers etc. Lijkt me wel van toepassing bij deze ramp. Dan neemt het leger het dus over.

Explosie als 21 ton tnt, de tering. Maar te hopen dat er binnen die 1 km niet veel mensen zijn geweest. Zou de beelden bij daglicht wel eens willen zien.

Die camera stond niet eens zo dichtbij. Het was gewoon een grote explosie

Het terrein waar de explosie zich voordeed, zou van het bedrijf Dongjiang Port Rui Hai International Logistics zijn. Het concern houdt zich bezig met het transport van gevaarlijke stoffen.

Ze zit blijkbaar nu niet in China, en als ze in China zit, zit ze blijkbaar in Shanghai. Valt verder dus sowieso niet veel van te verwachten.
