De eerste wedstrijd zit er op. Juventus heeft thuis, in de ogen van de kenners, verrast. Ze verschalkten de Madrilenen uit Bernabeu met 2-1. Vrij vroeg scoorde Alvaro Morata tegen zijn oude maatjes 1-0. Juventus was op stoom, maar dan was daar toch Ronaldo die 1-1 maakte. In de tweede helft verijdelde Juve een corner. Het duo Morata-Tevez stormde op het doel van Iker af. Morata werd onderuitgehaald maar Tevez ging verder: penalty. 2-1.
