Hiring armed guards

Many other sites will tell you that you need an armed militia to travel here. I can tell you this is not true and a waste of money. This rumor was believed to be started by local militia businesses to help increase sales. the truth is that within minutes of ariving, you probably will see armed locals with ak-47's surrounding you and will continue to surround you for free. It is best to travel Mogadisu when you have lost all will to live or a college student thinking about shooting up your college

I own guns myself, but the number of them that I saw in San Pedro Sula made me concerned about my "prospects for the future". My first time out on a Sunday night a money changer was kind enough to point out a nice Chinese restaurant where I could get a meal and a beer. Until then I had never been to a restaurant that keeps the doors locked from the inside during business hours and has a guard with a shotgun at the door. The next day, when the businesses were open there were 10 times as many guns. I never had one pointed at me or heard one go off, I had just never seen as many private security guards and such a lack of local police or military. Don't bother bringing travelers checks either. Of the 8 banks I went to, none cashed them unless you were a client.

Ons Dorp, in de Nederlandse versie van het spel Monopoly. De andere zeven steden in het spel bestaan echt. Misschien heeft men voor het kleinste dorp een fantasienaam gekozen omdat men niemand wilde beledigen. Volgens sommigen[bron?] kan dit dorp alleen Vledder in Drenthe zijn, het enige dorp waarin een Brink en een Dorpsstraat voorkomen.
