Witnesses to an alleged knife attack in a supermarket said they heard 'white power' slogans shouted and a man being chased with a large knife.
Police were called to the incident at Tesco in Mold at 1.39pm today.
A customer said he saw a man holding a 'huge knife' chasing an Asian man down one of the aisles at the store in Mold in Flintshire, Wales.
He, along with another eye-witness, also heard a man shout 'white power' prior to the commotion unfolding, he told the Daily Post.
The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed one man has been taken to an undisclosed hospital with 'serious injuries'.
North Wales Police have not yet confirmed if a weapon was used, but did admit the attack could be racially-motivated.
Colin Cooper, of Leeswood, said: “I heard a lot of shouting to start with.
"The next thing I saw one lad chasing another lad with a knife.
"It was huge – it was like something out of Crocodile Dundee.
"Even then I thought they were messing about, but obviously not.
"They called for security over the loudspeaker.
"Then 30 seconds or a minute later this lad was being helped by a couple of staff saying ‘get me an ambulance’.
"The lad attacked was Asian.
"He had his hands in front of his stomach.
"I couldn’t tell whether his hands were cut from protecting himself or if he’d been stabbed.
"It looked to me like his hands were cut."
Student Rich Fay was shopping with his dad and brother at the time of the incident.
The 20-year-old from Mold said: “We heard screaming on aisle two. Initially we thought it was schoolboys.
"It continued longer than we expected.
"My dad looked around the corner and we followed.
"You could see a man who by this time was being held by a man we've been told was ex-army.
"He didn't seem fazed.
"In one arm the man had a knife and in the other I believed it was a hammer.
"I think they had tags on so he must have got them from the store.
"Then it was chaos, staff were screaming.
"We were told by staff that the person (injured man) was in the back.
"The initial shout was for everyone to leave the store.
"Because it was market day there was quite a lot of elderly customers in there.
"We weren't asked to leave for a good while.
"We made our own way out after about 10 minutes."
The supermarket, which is expected to be closed for 24 hours, was initially cordoned off by officers at the entrance to the car park.
Later the entry road from the A541 roundabout was closed off, meaning there was no access to the petrol station either.
About half a dozen police cars were at the scene and a forensics van arrived at about 2.30pm with officers in white protective suits appearing to take photographs of the sealed-off store entrance.
Customers who had been inside the supermarket at the time of the incident were allowed through the cordon to exit the car park, but many said they were unaware of what had happened.
Some witnesses were still being interviewed at the store more than two hours later.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: “Police were called to the Tesco store following reports of a disturbance.
"One man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding.
"The male victim has been taken to hospital for treatment.
"The force are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident."
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "At approximately 1.40pm, we were asked by police to attend an incident at Tesco supermarket in Mold, Flintshire.
"We responded with a rapid response vehicle and an emergency ambulance, and a man with serious injuries was taken to hospital."
They would not confirm what hospital the man was taken to or the nature of his injuries.
A Tesco spokesman said: "We are helping police with their enquiries."

En afgaande op de naam van het slachtoffer (Sarandev Brahambra) is het een Hindoe of Sikh en geen moslim.
Het is geen moord, het is een steekpartij (een moordpoging) die het slachtoffer gelukkig heeft overleefd. En je tweede opmerking klopt ook niet. Een paar weken geleden heeft een 17-jarige jongen in Zwolle bij een supermarkt een straatmuzikant vermoord en een andere man ernstig verwond.quote:

Het probleem met alle religies/sektes, is dat mensen er niet altijd voor kiezen om gehersenspoeld te worden. Kleine kinderen worden gehersenspoeld. Dat is er op latere leeftijd niet meer helemaal uit te krijgen.quote:

Er was een tijd geleden zo'n programma op Discovery dat mensen die uit een sekte gestapt waren volgde in het normale leven. Die hadden nog steeds gewoonten uit hun leven binnen de sekte overgehouden. En dat te bedenken dat deze personen vaak ook nog eens op latere leeftijd zich bij een dergelijke groep gevoegd hebben. Je kunt dan wel nagaan wat er gebeurt met kinderen.
Gelukkig had de aanvaller geen drone of een straalvliegtuig anders had die zijn huis gebombardeerd zoals volgens het westen wel hoort.quote:
