They have conviction and feeling when singing their melancholic and pensive entry. But it's not just their voices that are perfectly suited - there is a strong chemistry between the two on stage as they stand on either side of the road's dividing line singing to each other. The Common Linnets' second rehearsal was as close to perfect as you can get - nothing should be changed here, and if there's any justice, the Netherlands should easily make the final this year with this noble effort.

Prachtig♡ ik ben enthousiast!

Ik heb al gezegd dat ik niet enthousiast over het nummer was (alhoewel het beter wordt als je het meer hoort) maar dat het afhing van de visuals... en VOOR HET EERST KLOPT HET GEWOON!!! Ik geloof mijn ogen niet! De visuals zijn gewoon geweldig! Ik ben ook enthousiast!!

Wow.. ik zit hier op een verjaardag stiekem fok te checken. Wat een ongelofelijk postieve berichten!!!

Volgens mij ook! Ben zelf ook positiever, maar dat is al jaren zo; hoe dichter bij de avond, hoe meer vertrouwen erin....

Ik heb in de afgelopen 10 jaar nog niet zo'n positieve vibe meegemaakt... Zelfs Birds kreeg vorig jaar minder de handen op elkaar

Ik denk dat we de finale sowieso bereiken. Wellicht dat we dit jaar niet winnen, hoewel we een enorme dark horse kunnen zijn als het plaatje van top tot teen klopt. Maar met deze deelname van Anouk en Ilse & Waylon zijn 3 grote leermomenten gegeven: 1) het liedje moet de ziel raken, 2) hou de act puur, 3) de voorbereiding moet tot in de puntjes geregeld zijn. Ik heb door Anouk en Ilse & Waylon grote hoop voor 2015. Nu duimen dat het in 2014 al raak is!

Haha maar met Birds was er nog te weinig over de act nagedacht, hoe het in beeld moet worden gebracht. Dit met Waylon en ilse de Lange is gewoon al iets waar 'we' hier op Fok al jaaaaaaaaaaaaren over praten! Dat het niet gaat om een bombastische act, maar om hoe je op de juiste wijze iets in beeld brengt, een gevoel overbrengt op tv. En ze doen het gewoon! Ongelofelijk! ik sta versteld!! Ik vind het nummer nog wel steeds te weinig hebben, maar wie weet, met de juiste 'wind', komen we opeens heulllllll ver (of zeg ik dit nu elk jaar zo dicht van te voren )

Ik vind het helaas nog steeds een beetje saai en middle of the road.
Snap echt niet waarom al die buitenlanders zo enthousiast zijn
(Heb vanavond alle songs gekeken met drie buitenlanders en het liedje kreeg alleen een paar punten van mij.)
