Dacht eigenlijk dat er dit seizoen eens wat goed zou gaan, maar toen bedacht ik me dat ik shameless zat te kijken 
Wat een goede serie blijft het ook . Mooie seizoensfinale!! Had het Fiona wel een keer gegund dat de bruiloft goed zou gaan, maar inderdaad, het blijft Shameless

Het lijkt me juist wel mooi als Carl (grootste ommekeer), Lip (toch wel altijd sterk voor de familie) en Ian (eigenlijk weinig zijn eigen schuld geweest) de personen zijn met wie het goed afloopt. Frank mag wat mij betreft zn nier afstoten en verdwijnen, Fiona roept het over zichzelf af met dr geslettebak en Debbie is eigenlijk gewoon gestoord..

Earlier this week it was reported that Rossum had been seeking salary parity with co-star William H. Macy. Rossum's camp reportedly argued that the actress should be paid more than Macy to make up for the seven seasons in which she earned considerably less than the veteran actor.
Terms of Rossum's new deal were not disclosed.
Showtime has yet to officially renew Shameless for an eighth season. The series' current seventh season wraps on Dec. 18.

Showtime has renewed Shameless for a 12-episode Season 8, the network announced on Monday. The pickup comes just hours after the series aired its emotional Season 7 finale, and five days after leading lady Emmy Rossum resolved her equal-pay contract dispute.
As we reported last week, Rossum was seeking salary parity with co-star William H. Macy, and the negotiations were reportedly holding up a Season 8 renewal. Rossum’s camp allegedly argued that the actress should be paid more than Macy to make up for the seven seasons in which she earned considerably less than the veteran actor.
On Wednesday, Rossum announced that a new deal had been struck. “I’m so happy to continue [with] my Shameless family!” she wrote. “Back to work in May!”
Showtime noted in the renewal release that Shameless’ seventh season was the series’ highest-rated to date.
Shameless Season 8 is slated to bow in Fall 2017.

Iemand de originele UK Shameless gezien? Ik heb deze voor de tweede keer helemaal afgekeken en zou nu wel de US versie willen kijken. Ben benieuwd of de verhaallijnen hetzelfde zijn of totaal anders. Wil liever dit topic niet doorlezen ivm spoilers 
Nooit gezien, maar ik heb begrepen dat seizoen 1 voor een groot deel verhaallijnen leent van de Uk versie, waarna het een eigen weg opgaat. Ik zou deze serie zeker aanraden. De karakters zijn zo tof gewoon..na al die seizoenen geniet ik nog steeds van elke afleveringquote:

Ok, dus compleet andere verhaallijnen. Ik ben heel erg benieuwd. Ik vond de Engelse versie echt fantastisch. Maar ik hou sowieso ontzettend van Engelse series.

Added Wells, “I’m unbelievably thankful for all of the years of support from Gary Levine and everyone at Showtime that’s allowed us to make Shameless. It’s been a fantastic experience and all of us in the cast and crew have had a wonderful time following the lives of the Gallagher family and friends. It’s been a pleasure!”
The farewell run will mark the show’s second season without leading lady Emmy Rossum as Gallagher matriarch Fiona. Returning cast members include William H. Macy (aka Frank), Jeremy Allen White (Lip), Kate Miner (Tami), Cameron Monaghan (Ian), Noel Fisher (Mickey), Emma Kenney (Debbie), Ethan Cutkosky (Carl), Christian Isaiah (Liam), Shanola Hampton (V) and Steve Howey (Kev).
Thus far this season, Shameless is averaging 840,000 total viewers (in Live+Same Day numbers), down 20 percent from Rossum’s farewell tour.
Shameless Season 10 currently airs Sundays at 9/8c.
