Het programma Opium van Cornald Maas gaat vanavond over het komende ESF. De Common Linnets zijn daar te gast. Ook Jan Smit, Giel Beelen, Leo Blokhuis en Hugo Borst zijn betrokken bij de uitzending.
De Sahara is zonder meer erg droog.
ik ga zeker kijken, grappig dat er andere songfestival experts zijn
Trouwens ik heb het idee dat The common linnits steeds meer gewaardeerd worden. Klasse.
En het zal mooi zijn als zij een perfect tv optreden weggeven..

“Ilse and Waylon already have discussed a detailed stage concept with the creative director from The Common Linnets team. Especially with regards to camera work”, according to Maurice Kroon. And he is right. Staging is the key to a perfectly performed 3 minute segment, in which televoters (your family and friends) and juries (inside the studios of the respective national broadcasters) should be dragged into the screen.
Netherlands doesn’t need a huge choreography concept. “Calm After The Storm” needs to impress through simplicity and purity. Maurice knows that: “We should not do gimmicks regarding choreography. Camerawork and lighting however are vital to impress on audiences”. Therefore it is of no surprise that The Common Linnets were already in contact with Per Zachariassen from DR-television to discuss these aspects. Not everything can be done, as DR wants to put their own “creative stamp” on the contest. Hence the fact that the “basic stage concepts” can only be influenced upon request.
