Dan hebben de meesten daarvan een behoorlijk Oscar-stempel op hun voorhoofd staan.
Maar als je het over het algemeen bekijkt, waren er redelijk wat goeie films dit jaar, een aantal zeer grote en komen er nog aan.
Oh en ik wil Signs ook nog noemen als nominatie kandidaat, voor script en regiseur. Denk alleen niet dat ze zullen winnen.

Beste Film: Ik hoop One Hour Photo, vanwege die fantastische achterliggende gedachtes enz, maar ik geef ze weinig kans bij deze academy.

Beste cinematography: One Hour Photo
Conclusie: One Hour Photo en Robin Williams zullen prijzen binnen halen, zo niet.......oei! Foei on the Academy!!

ben bang voor weinig TTT nominaties (alleen in de technische categoriën) omdat de "verassing" er af is, misschien heeft het oscar-commitee het idee dat de LOTR-films vorig jaar al genoeg beloond zijn. En ik hoop ook op WEINIG minority report nominaties. En volgens mij gaat GONY gigantisch tegenvallen.

Verder denk ik dat er een nominatie inzit voor Julianne Moore voor The Hours, Diane Lane voor Unfaithful, Catherine Zeta-Jones voor Chicago en Spike Jonze voor Adaptation - laatste in de catagorie regie dan natuurlijk.
Ben ook bijna zeker van een Oscar voor Hable con Ella (foreign film), denk dat Y tu Mama Tambien iets te grof is voor de Academy. Verder zien we het in februari wel. En laatste nieuws; er zijn al twee technische nominaties bekend gemaakt:

The Los Angeles District Attorney's office said Tuesday that if Roman Polanski attempts to attend the Oscar ceremonies on March 24, he will be arrested. In 1977 Polanski was charged with statutory rape after engaging in sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl at the home of Jack Nicholson. He later pleaded guilty to the charge but fled the country before he was sentenced. In 1997, his victim, Samantha Geimer, appeared on the tabloid news show Inside Edition and expressed her wish that Polanski be allowed to return to the U.S. without having to serve jail time, but, among prosecutors, her words fell on deaf ears. Some critics have remarked that Polanski's fugitive status will probably have a negative effect on his chances for winning a best director Oscar for The Pianist. Polansi's film has also been nominated in six other categories, including best picture.
