Ik ben benieuwd in welke muziek jullie iets ervaren van de ziel, het transcendente en misschien zelfs het goddelijke.

Een prachtige muziekale vertaling van psalm 51. Een smeekbede van David aan God om zijn zonde weg te nemen.
Deze is vlak hiervoor tot inkeer gekomen, en zich bewust geworden van de grootte van zijn zonde door de woorden van Nathan. Ik vind dat de emoties van het verhaal prachtig gevangen worden in de uitvoering van deze psalm.
Het is in en in triest en droevig, maar toch gloort er hoop op vergeving van God, en in het proces van berouw en verlossing zoeken bij god is het bijproduct zo een mooie uitvoering.
Ps, het laatste stuk van de psalm is een latere toevoeging, waarschijnlijk gedaan ten tijde van de ballingschap.

De combinatie van deze door een fan gemaakte clip is overigens buitengewoon. Zoveel geweld en destructie en tegelijkertijd deze geweldige muziek.
