Verder heeft de eigenaar van Stan de Leeuw aangegeven dat het dier niet van uienlucht houdt, en het dus adviseerbaar is om ten minste 1 hele ui te eten. Mocht u oog in oog komen met de leeuw, dan dient u met u uienadem te blazen naar het dier.
