We did not do anything different for this match. We analysed Poland in detail, trained the same and tried to keep things at the same level as against France. I am very happy with the result but I am a little bit older now than I was before! We missed chances to get a second goal, and we have to hope that we are better in front of goal on Wednesday. Poland were very strong for the whole match. We are in the final and the result at the end of the day is the most important thing.

The red card did not help us – it meant that Georgia only defended and didn't leave much room for us to attack. In these situations, it is very difficult for young players to be patient. The Georgian team made the pitch very small and restricted space. This means the few chances we got become incredibly important – we missed many, but we kept on being positive and eventually we got what we deserved. Tonight we will celebrate a little bit, and from tomorrow we will focus on the final.

Ik snap echt niet hoe een coach niet kan inzien dat die de backs een keer diep moet sturen om fatsoenlijk positiespel te kunnen spelen.
