Courtney Stodden’s Mom Declares That Her Daughter Is The Next Anna Nicole Smith
Filed under: Anna Nicole Smith > Courtney Stodden
Why she thinks that is a compliment, we're not sure, but we're going to make a declaration of our own:
Ladies and gentlemen, meet the next Dina Lohan!
Mothers are supposed to want all the best in life for their daughters. They should want them to grow up to be strong, independent world leaders or doctors or hell, even just good mothers like themselves. Women who will make the world a better place with generosity and drive. Instead of these things, Courtney Stodden's "momager" wants her kid to be a "star." No, not like Angelina Jolie or Reese Witherspoon.
Like freakin' Anna Nicole Smith!
Krista Keller is stepping forward to the press (shocking!) to explain her standpoint on her daughter's rash life decision to marry at 16 and what she hopes for Courtney in the future. As for her daughter's premature marriage to Doug Hutchinson, Krista says:
"I could really tell my daughter had the kind of love when you want to marry a man or be with a man. Even though she was just 16, I knew it was going to take a pretty big man to handle her because of her sexuality and because of the attention she gets … These people that say, ‘You could have waited,' I really don't understand this way of thinking. Why do parents think that kids need to have those teen years spent going out with different boys, going out in different cars, going out on the beach together alone? There's a lot of bad stuff that happens in those teen years. They end up being killed in car crashes due to driving with people that have been drinking. Oh, but they're gonna have their teen years. My daughter is safe. I know where my daughter is."
Ah! Now we see where Courtney's genius comes from. Like mother, like daughter. Another piece of the puzzle!
If none of that makes any sense to you, then this is going to just bowl you over! When pressed to talk about her daughter's future endevors, Krista regales that Court already has an audience and a role model to look up to! She says:
"The gay community has been so loving to her. I know that Anna Nicole Smith had a great rapport with the gay community, and I think they've been waiting to have someone they can connect with, and I think Courtney is that person. She is different and stands out. Frankly, we thought she'd fit in better in Hollywood."
First of all, OH NO YOU DIDN'T?! We'd like to personally speak for the gay community and ask that this momager do a bit more research. We have yet to find ANYONE - gay, straight or otherwise - that finds your daughter to be anything more than an embarrassment. To that end, issue an apology now to all the gays whose good name you have tarnish by suggesting they would idolize your daughter.
As for her taking up a career like Anna Nicole Smith, have no fear mom - your daughter is living up to all your expectations! She talks funny, her body's been hacked, poked, plucked and knifed to bits and she's married to an old dude with lots of money… minus the money part.
It's called dreaming big!
